We had such a lovely time at this farm, Storm and her grandparents Ann and William were delightful hosts and we had a great conversation.
Also as lovers of cats and dogs we were quite happy to see some furry companions!
The room was quite lovely, comfortable and very clean, and so was the bathroom which was so typical British to us French people 🙂
Breakfast was great and waiting for us when we arrived for the next morning and everything was there: sweet and savoury so we both were happy with it.
In conclusion we loved our stay here and hope to be back soon to enjoy this amazing place.
Thanks again for this great time!

Having read positive reviews we had hopes that were met and a bit more. Total tranquility in a wonderful setting with beautifully furnished rooms and great facilities. The breakfast laid out in the room really suited us and we bought eggs to cook on the aga in the kitchen. Following Annie’s directions to turn right at the rhododendron bushes we found a field with a wild flower area and a bench to count butterflies. It being summer really helped and wouldn’t like to find it in the dark. But we found it with no problem using the map. So impressed we sought out and bought the same bread bin as was in our room. Thank you. Great multi generational team.

A nice home away from home and a haven of peace and tranquillity! Lovely hosts and dogs (yes, the dogs!) and ponies (and the cat too), not to mention the clean air and beautiful surroundings. Always a great get-away for a weekend break and walks in Dartmoor. A must for dog and horse lovers. I've been coming back over the years for good reason!

Absolutely fantastic stay, superb hosts and a very comfortable room. Very remote location, if you are looking to unwind I would recommend to skip the wifi connection and enjoy the scenery. Would 100% recommend. I hope to be able to stay at Corndonford farm again on my travels. Thank you Ann & Will.

This was a memorably pleasant stay. Anne Williams is one of the most fascinating and gracious hosts we have met in our travels in the West Country (as was Will), and her farm is delightfully cozy (and full of history). It is situated in a beautiful setting, convenient to walking as well as several of Dartmoor's best pubs (The Tavistock and the Rugglestone). Breakfast was delicious and the room was large and comfortable. We look forward to returning!

Dartmoor was one of our stops in a driving tour we took of Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall - and our stay at Corndonford Farm was a delightful highlight. Ann greeted us with a 'I'll put the kettle on' after complimenting on us Canadians finding Cordonford without needing to call - we believe it was her expert instructions in tandem with our GPS. We were shown our room and offered tea and cake and conversation with wonderful Ann and Will, and their friends and family members - all generous spirited individuals - that stopped by, further enhancing our getting to know something about the area, the village (parish of 200) and the people that live there. (Lovely dogs, too!) Our room was lovely - and fully equipped with an ensuite shower, toilet and sink. The historic stone spiral staircase is charming (but could be an issue for people who find stairs challenging. The window offers a lovely aspect of the farm and other buildings. The cooked breakfast was delicious and extensive - including the choice of how to have one's eggs prepared. We could smell the delicious scones as we came downstairs in the morning. Ann checked in with us when we arrived about where we'd like to eat (we'd driven a distance so chose the more local option, the Tavistock Inn) and checked to make sure there was a table for us and that food was being served on a Monday. We had a wonderful dinner there (reviewed separately). ||Part of the fun of travel for us is to meet and enjoy conversation with people that live in the places we visit - this experience was stellar and unique. We were offered an incredibly warm welcome and stay with the ease of Devon hospitality experts. Ann couldn't do enough for us. We're so grateful for the experience, and would love to return.

We loved every minute of our stay with Ann and Will and their wonderful family who generously shared their fantastic lifestyle with my husband and I for the two days of our stay treating us more like friends than guests. Even the two gorgeous black Labradors greeted us each time we returned 'home'. Thank you Ann and Will, you really made our stay so enjoyable and we'll never forget the beautifully scented sweet peas and rose that you put in our room and the fresh strawberry jam you gave us for breakfast that made had just made.

Hi all,||||My family visited this B and B in Aug 21. This is at TQ137PP. 300 yards ahead and on the left, after Satnav shows you have arrived. The place is run by Ann who is 82 and it was a lovely to meet her and her daughter Charlotte. Its a farm house ,middle of no where. We learn it was probably build at least 300 to 400 years ago. ||The rooms are well kept and maintained, and have seperate toilets. There were 2 dogs, a cat and also few hens. My younger son was quite happy to be there.||||A positive is you have no mobile reception hence you are cut off from work id you ever plan to take a call. Wifi is available and the signal strength is decent given the remote country location.||||Ann prepares breakfast herself, and at her age when she serves it hot in the morning we felt privileged. She showed us around her small farm where she grew almost everything from peas, pumpkins, parsley, tomatoes, strawberries, beetroots, potatoes, cucumber , etc. ||||She has a lovely collection of books which you can read while there.||||Good place for city kids who would like a country experience.||||Cheers
