Decided to go grocery shopping New Year’s Eve 2024 and as I was walking towards M&S, I spotted Collins of Chiswick Greengrocers. The display looked fresh and tempting so decided to shop there for a change instead of at M&S.

After purchasing the items I needed, I spotted these large English shallots and was curious as to the flavour so needed just five pieces. To my pleasant surprise, Shane gifted them to me! Wow! God bless you Shane. It was such an unexpected kind gesture.

Such beautiful souls need to be supported with post of customers.

Where do I begin,after carefully reading all the positive reviews,I have to question whether it's fake reviews,as there's not one complaint about this man's astronomical prices he charges for very average fruit and vegetables,in all my life,I have never come across such a fruit and veg stall with these crazy prices,dosent the owner know that we are in the worst financial crisis in over 100 years,since the event of covid?I know he wears glasses but surely he is not that blind to realise all the shops on the High Rd are closed down,as no one has any money to spend,so what's the point in opening any shop on the high Rd,so why buy one apple for £2,when you could pop into sainsbury's and buy 6 for £175 granny smiths or 2,25 for red juicy apples?and the other fruit and veg stalls on the High Rd and outside sainsbury's are just as bad,as I have seen all of them put fruits from the floor right back OK their shelves for all of us to purchase,absolutely disgusting!
