The family who have recently taken over the butchers on union street are absolutely lovely, friendly and family orientated
Their sausages that are different each 6 weeks are beautiful as is the beef teriyaki and quiches .
In fact it's all such nice food and homely and kind reception from the lady and gentlemen who have taken over and family members
I strongly advise you to visit this butchers as they do beautiful pork pies too

Bought a beautiful joint of lamb for the family as a special occasion . It was tender , full of flavour and the best we have ever tasted . It's great to have this local butchers I can rely on for quality and brilliant customer service, thankyou .

Have bought meat from this shop previously and always been happy. However we bought some sausage and was very disappointed with them. £5 for 6 sausage that shrivelled to nothing. I will support independent retailers as much as possible but not when the quality is so poor

Called in late in the day for two steak pies. As there were no cooked ones left we were offered two to cook ourselves. They were absolutely delicious.. Lovely tender steak and perfect shortcrust pastry.

I have given 1 star because zero is not an option. Absolutely the worst sausages and burgers we have ever tasted. The quality and texture was strange...No seasoning and for the what we paid was very disappointing. We, being five of us with the same opinion would not recommend , only to our worst enemies.

Best steak I have ever tasted, went in late in the day when just about to close the guys couldn't have been more helpful, also left with lamb rump and sausages they were also fabulous - will be making a special journey before we return home, wish we lived closer!!

Would recommend this butcher for there Fresh meat / cooked meats / pies
Very good service I phoned my order in and asked if they could meet me outside the shop as I have got bad mobility they came with my order took payment nothing too much trouble I will always use this butchers
