Go here! We have purchased so many amazing plants from this gem of a nursery got great deals on our gravel too! Latest edition a healthy and fantastic looking blueberry plant - every member of staff is a diamond super helpful and attentive answering any of your questions. Great layout and variety - we always end up finding what we need!

Wow such an array of colour as I entered Coblands. I started to come here during lockdown when garden centre's were one of the only things open apart from supermarket's. I have bought many different plants from here and have never had a problem with them at all. I'm not a gardener, but I like my little garden. The staff here are always approachable for tips and support.
The cafe is great to visit for a coffee and a bite to eat or an ice cream on a hot day.
Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely embarrassing indoor plant section.
There were more completely dead plants/ half dead than there were alive, and those alive are hanging on by a thread.
Every single plant was dying, leaves curled,scorched, brown and ripped up.
Somehow managed to kill plants that would be extremely hard to kill.
Never seen a garden centre with such poor quality plants.
Would not recommend as they clearly do not take care.

This centre always has a good selection of seasonal ‘pretties’. I always seem to find a ‘must have’.
Sadly, it is let down by the specimen plants which are a motley bunch of ancient relics and neglected newer arrivals. Not the best greeting on driving into the car park.

We had breakfast there today although mostly it was good but as the menu says the sausages were butchers when it arrived it was clear they were cheep replacements ie tasteless scrap ups when I pay for a breakfast I expect quality sausages and bacon although the bacon was nice there was only one rasher but on the whole the breakfast was good I would go back if they use a better quality of sausages the restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly

Great big garden centre...a joy to walk around whether to buy or to browse.

Nice staff too, especially the young helpful chap at the till whose name I did not ask.

They may be a bit short staffed as I certainly found it difficult to get help despite it being a Saturday when one would expect more customers. Oh, BTW they do have Dicentra in stock despite what one staff member told me ..I bought a nice big one.

Been there a few times since and again staff were helpful without being too knowledgeable about their stock. At 40% off for Orchard cardholders, I simply had to buy a lot of plants.

Coffee shop. Feb and no heating - very uncomfortable. Pasties on display were tepid and had to be reheated. Touched by staff hands and not tongues. Overall disappointing on this third visit in 6 months. This may be our last visit.

Reasonably well organised post lockdown but not always easy to find what you want and when we went very limited garden vegetable plants available. Staff doing their best while obviously still getting used to best practices. Think they will get better in time and a large car park always a plus.

I’ve just updated this review and added one more star as having now been back twice recently, some 10 months later, one can see huge improvements all around this site with the addition of a cafe and a vastly improved range and stock of very healthy looking plants and more garden ornaments and general gardening requisites.
