Lovely place for kids and adults day out. Lots of fun activities to do.
Good parking space and facilities for toilets and sinks to wash hands after you feed the animals.

Brilliant day out with the kids! Animals are beautiful and the park has lots of fun things for the kids to do! Buy tickets in advance as it's cheaper than on the door and lots of places to eat a packed lunch too!

A most excellent farm park with plenty to do as well as being very scenic both in the sun and in the snow.

First of all, there is a big car park with more than enough space and costs £2 for the whole day. You can validate the ticket upon entry or when you leave as it lasts for 8 hours so you can avoid queues on the busy days.

There is an on-site restaurant, outside tables and a little in-door area specifically for the pack lunchers. Restaurant is slightly over priced but we have always enjoyed it. Soup, sandwiches, toasties, burgers, fries, cakes, juice…it’s all there for a good snack.

Toilets are shared, all cubicles and definitely the cleanest out of all the farm parks and similar activities we have been to over the last couple of years.

Staff are brilliant!!!!

Our favourite part of the park is the train which runs frequently but depends on how busy the park is. Generally hourly but can vary. The train is free (unlike a lot of other parks) and it gives you a nice tour of the park and the animals, some of which like to chase the train, and gives you an opportunity to feed them. The llamas are the most bold and will literally stick their head into the train to get a munch.

There’s two pedal go-kart tracks. One for kids and one for the adult kids.

There’s a brand new water area with various water based activities including water guns which again bring out the mischievous big kid in some of us.

You can jump and crawl round the hay barn, feed the goats and llamas, play in the sand pit, bounce on the trampolines, race down the dry slope on toboggans, play mini-golf and there is also an in-door bit with activities such as slides and toy tractors to drive on above the barn.

There is a nice trail to walk round where you can also stick the kids in a cart and wheel them round (little bit of skill involved at the top) or if you’re feeling very fit you can climb up the steepest of the hills where there is musical chimes and more playground activities.

Mini-Golf and animal feed require tokens which are 50p each and can be found in various locations around the park I.e. shop, train station, barn, mini-golf hut. Please note: change is not given at the machines and you will be given the number of tokens for the amount inserted. £2 coin will give you 4 tokens.

Basically, if you need an enjoyable day out with the kids then this should be your #1 choice. You will not be disappointed!

And if you’re like us then you’ll be back time and time again so maybe an annual membership is worth considering.

Absolutely brilliant day out with the kids. Was £17 entry for an adult and £6 for kids (I think - cheaper if you buy online in advance) but everything inside the park was included other than 50p for food for the animals. We took a picnic and were there the full day! Such great value for money, I'll definitely be back!

Top tip, leave the sand and water bits to the end and take a change of clothes for the kids so they can fully enjoy the water

We had a wonderful few hours here, something for everyone to enjoy. Fabulous setting. They were preparing for Halloween activities whilst we were there, spooky and fun. A good range of animals to view, from cheeky goats to llamas and deer, the hairy coo ( bull) magnificent with his harem and offspring. Brilliant

Visited with our 1 year old today. Lady on reception and driving the train was lovely and friendly. The train ride was fun and a good experience for our son. The llamas were so close and ran by the side of the train. The restaurant was clean and tidy and again the staff were great, food at a good price and good portions. We loved that you can get up close to the animals. It is a little steep in areas which was a little difficult when we didn’t take the pushchair. There are small carts to pull along so we did the blue walk over the bridge. Will be back in the Easter and summer as there’s loads of outdoor activities for the warmer months.
