Called up after being advised by two very experienced garages that our engine repair light was caused by an electrical wiring issue, man on phone was very rude and told me to go to a normal garage as he wasn't interested and wouldn't do this work. I explained that wr had already been to two garages but he said they would be wrong and wasn't even willing to take a look at the issue. Would never use again and cant understand the positive reviews as the man i spoke to was not helpful in any way at all ot maybe he didn't like speaking to a woman about car issues as seemed to be very old school abd out dated!!

Found a fantastic auto electrician near Tamworth called AC Automotive who have quickly and accurately diagnosed and repaired fault which was definitely electrical!! really reasonable prices and excellent customer service so well worth travelling to rather than having to use the old very unhelpful man at this garage that clearly didn't like dealing with women and didn't know what he was talking about!!

My vehicle is 20 years old +. Has been stood for a few months. When i came to start it we notice a battery drain. Called into Brians work shop and we knew we are in safe hands. He narrowed down the issue with in a few minutes. Also found the alternators were not doing there job. He offered to refurb these for us as new would cost a fortune. Motor all sorted so much confidence in this small business.

I am so sorry ! To anyone who's read the rantings of the previous review.
I have never worked on her car and have never met this person, and for that I am eternally grateful.
Like any business I can't do every thing, if I say no for what ever reason, to busy or I don't do that type of work, I don't expect a tirade of abuse over the phone and then again on the Internet.
I think it is outrageous that Google allow these types of reviews by someone who seems to be having a childish tantrum. If you ring a business and they can't help for whatever reason you would just ring someone else, that's what I and the rest of you would do wouldn't we!
So she found someone else to do the work, great and she's not actually left them a review of any kind, says it all.

I have used autolect along with other family members and would recommend them every time for the fantastic service as they will go above and beyond. The owner is a great guy and so helpful. You will not get ripped off either. I would never think about going anywhere else for electrical issues.

The fact that this business is booming whatever time or day you arrive is a clear indication that they must be doing something right. The owner puts himself out for people needing his service. Things never go 100% OK but this garage and the team of electrical engineers do their utmost to discover what has gone wrong. I can’t see the main dealers going to all that trouble

I took my car to these guys with a battery drain issue which several garages had failed to resolve.. And these guys correctly diagnosed it as an issue with the electrics of my boot and how it closed.. True professionals! This issue had failed 4 major garages in about 4 years and Autoelect nailed it.. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

The service they provide is 5 star. I took my car in and he did everything possible to find the fault and didn't charge a ridiculous price. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Everyone I know uses this company.

I think it is very sad that someone can put uncalled for, untrue and such negative comments about a business and get away with it! But after reading these somewhat puzzling comments, I can only assume that this person has confused Autolec with another business! I have used Autolec for many years and have nothing but praise for them and wouldn’t contemplate electrical work being carried out by anyone else. From commercial vehicles to private vehicles, I have had many electrical faults repaired by Autolec, including many electrical improvements and add-ons. They once resolved electrical issues with a vehicle of mine simply and efficiently and at at a fraction of the crazy quotes that I had been given by other garages for work that wasn’t even necessary. Brian Coupland has been more than straight and fair with me and all work has been carried to the highest of standards.

The comments about rain pouring in and the premises requiring demolishing are totally uncalled for as they are premises of a hard working and successful business. In my opinion, Autolec offer a five-star service and I have nothing but praise for them and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
