Such a great day trip from central London- although the walk is not very nice from the overground station through a crematorium- the nursery is absolutely massive with giant warehouses both inside and outside with every type of tree, bush, flower and herb you can imagine (the selection of £1 herbs was amazing- really recommend- over 15 types of just mint!)

Well stocked garden centre with 2 car park areas. Staff are friendly. Sales are very good (went in late summer) with huge variety that got reduced. Asked about a specific raspberry (Joan J) which they didn't have in stock but they were kind enough to order it and had it in stock within 2 weeks which we've now collected. Generally very clean with good displays on show. Also have new toilet facilities now.

My family have been attending Clockhouse since it was a single greenhouse and I can remember running around the plantbeds as a small child while my Grandparents shopped. I did smile seeing a young child do the same today and hope they'll have the same fond memories as an adult.
The updates to the site are very welcome; bigger car park, new toilets, new plant displays, places to have a sit and painted lines on the floor leading you directly to the different areas / plants.
Clockhouse has a great selection of tools, bird seeds, pots and growing paraphernalia for indoor and outdoor plants. There is a large range of seedlings of all salad and vegetable plants currently in and they were the cheapest for these out of the four nurseries I attended during the day.
All the staff I encountered today were polite, knowledgeable and went out their way to help.

Huge range of healthy plants, in large numbers, Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of parking. Good prices. I bought one plant that was not 100% healthy, but it was on 86% price reduction. Bit of a salvage project.

Shame staff seemed to be absent from everywhere so getting help/advice wasn't straightforward.

Great local garden centre with ample parking and plenty of room to move around various areas. Spend endless hours here over the years. Kitted all my new garden with their plants. Good quality and affordable. Excellent Customer Services from the staff and Owner. They go the extra mile to source anything you require not readily available. Your service is much appreciated!!!

I buy a lot of seeds and seedlings here for my allotment. Plants are of good quality with good roots rock and the vast majority of the time they transplant well and produce great crops. They offer grafted plants too and the staff are knowledgeable about fruit and veg plants.

I rarely buy ornamental plants so can't comment on those.
