Bought rechargeable impact wrench 2014.
Used once. Not working now.
Sent 3 emails requesting  replacement  battery charger and battery  under my statutory rights  that equipment  sold has not been fit for use and requested they  contact  me. Absolutely no response.
POOR DISGRACEFUL USELESS  CUSTOMER  SERVICES!
AVOID THESE PEOPLE  LIKE THE PLAGUE!
I AM INIATING A SMALL CLAIMS COURT  ACTION AGAINST  THEM.

I have no idea how this business functions, it is almost as if they don't want your business. One of our engineers, had to make 4 separate calls to try order the correct part. One member of staff gave him a list of items codes and then on the next call, another member of staff denied that these parts existed and was extremely unhelpful. I then myself emailed multiple times to no avail. After 3 calls, I managed to order the parts but everyone was so unhelpful including the individual I spoke to last (who was had given us the part list). Honestly, never again.

The parts still haven't arrived yet and I am unable to obtain any updates - Shambolic company.

I bought brand new Clarkes generator - within 5months unable to use, became broke, very poor product standard but worse is company will not adhere to warranty / my consumer rights.

Bought a Clarkes Generator via Machine Mart - Used 10hrs per week, to cook food, run electric kettle...
Within 4months it broke, took in for repair at Clarkes authorised repairers - advised requires £100's of repair and must pay £94.
Decline to pay - key fault is replacement part covered under 1yr warranty.
Generator returned to me unrepaired and in worse state of disrepair. - Now doesnt work and company will not repair without payment, regardless of 1 year warranty. Hence 1 star, would give minus if option available, worst shopping experience so far for 2021. 🙁

Products may be cheaper but in my case must pay a lot more in long run, that is not what I would recommend to any consumer.

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - and read the 2 previous reviews on this site. Absolutely terrible pumps, unfit for even the lightest use. Between mid 2008 and late 2017 (9 and a half years) I've got through 4 successive new HSEC650A heavy duty cutter pumps, on a domestic system for a small cottage with one occupant. On average, these pumps have lasted just two and a half years before the head seals have leaked and the electrics have blown. The most recent one only lasted 18 months, and despite me having ALL the paperwork to prove that Clarke International supplied it to me direct, they are pretending they have no record of EVER doing so, which is ludicrous! That's even after they admitted that the pump has a warranty of 2 years (which isn't great anyway). They are basically telling me to go away, and slamming down the phone when I persist. This leaves me with sewage pouring down my garden and contaminating a brook, while I prepare to take them to Court for supplying goods that are not of merchantable quality. Did you know they don't manufacture these pumps, even though their name is printed all over the side? That's right, imported rubbish dressed up to make you think it's made in the UK. And according to them, that means they aren't liable to replace it. You have been warned. Mind how you go................

Recently bought a compressor from Clarke international. Initially ok, cheap & cheerful as you would expect from a budget brand. Finish of the paint was very poor, I would say DIY standard but the instructions were fairly straight forward and I had it up and running in no time. Unfortunately after around 2.5 hours the unit stopped working. After several hours speaking to various experts at Clarke’s & the very rude manager, I decided to write off the sale & buy a higher quality compressor from Argos. Returning to Alfreton for inspection is not my idea of good customer service. Be Warned!

Bought a welder and it packed up 2 weeks outside of the 12 month warranty. Only used a couple of times and not even a full roll of wire had gone through the machine. These tools are junk and poor build quality.

Bought a hammer drill and after 13 months the battery charger stopped charging the battery, so spoke to Clarkes and they said it was discontinued and my drill is useless now, but they are still selling the same model in the shops, and I don't want to pay £80+ for another drill just to get the charger with it.
Won't be buying anymore Clarke's products.

Amazing company, great tools at some of the UK's best prices. The support you get with Clarke is second to none, I would highly recommend their products and services. Tony in their sales department is a true gent, I will be buying from these again very soon.
