The pumpkin picking was really good, and even in bad weather, it was still great fun, and if I was only reviewing that, I would give 5 star ?
The reason for 2 stars was for the service in the cafe, staff not very helpful and quite rude.
Sandwich was actually very nice, and the coffee was pretty good, but when the service is lacking, it ruins it.
It's such a shame as I have been for a few events, and I had great experiences.

I've been to Claremont many times and always had the best food and service. Always go there when my parents come down from cumbria (Dad's a farmer and enjoys eating food that's sourced locally)

Though my reason for review is for this weekend we've been both Saturday and Sunday for brunch. The asparagus is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and are working extremely hard. Today we got prime seats outside and after a stressful week at work, it was those simple pleasures that brought so much joy. Fresh produce, friendly staff, a visit to see the pigs, surrounded by other happy customers with friends and family.

Wholesome, hearty 5 stars without a doubt!

Didn't realise you could book as couldn't find a booking system on the website and I tried calling numerous times over the course of 2 days and no one ever answered the phone. So due to this, the 4 of us turned up as walk ins and luckily managed to get a table, although this was between both entrances in the conservatory bit so was cold and there was consistently a huge queue of people right next to where we were sitting. The staff were friendly and attentive but the food and drinks took a long time to arrive. The breakfast was really good though! I preferred it here when it wasn't so popular, it's just way too busy these days with hoards of people trying to get a table it ruins the atmosphere in my opinion.

Ordered the avocado on sourdough toast as a meal it arrived as one piece of bread which looked like from the end of the sourdough. Initially was spread across the plate with the bacon to make it look bigger. When you’re paying almost £15 for a meal expect there to be enough to fill you up. After expressing I wasn’t happy did bring an extra piece of toast free of charge. However, sarcy comment at the end from waitress stating wasn’t charged even though the bread was what everyone else had received. Food is always very nice from here just extremely small portions probably costs 20p for an extra piece of bread

Would have been five stars.
Great produce in the farm shop.
Food in the cafe lovely.
But, oh dear some of the staff in the cafe need to improve their customer service skills.

Visited a fabulous vintage car festival there yesterday. Gorgeous cars, well organised parking for visitors and a very busy farm shop and cafe. Missing one star in review as they could have had more variety re the food provision especially for vegetarians/vegans, as we struggled to find anything savoury to snack on.

As farm shops go, this one is fairly average. There's not much local produce - a lot of fruit and veg is from overseas - and the selection of bought-in items is rather mundane. Prices are really high though, so why pay through the nose for something that can be purchased for a lot less at a local supermarket - especially when the environmental impact is much the same.

Fantastic breakfast. Staff seem to be well trained, attentive and professional. The restaurant is a warm and cosy environment, clean and well maintained. Well done.
