Cider farm Orchard campsite - Bridport

A wonderful family running a beautiful campsite and Orchard. My family loved the cider, they all said it's the best they've had. The campsite is peaceful, calm and has everything you need. The bathrooms and showers are always clean and in working order. Will definitely stay again!

Liked: Brilliant campsite with tent pitches in the middle of an orchard. The rows of trees made it feel more private between pitches especially as you can set up anywhere along the length of your section.
Fire pits were provided and, being on an orchard, they sold their own large range of ciders. Saturday night there was live music and brilliant food. Facilities were good and they are in the process of upgrading to add more showers

Liked: The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful surroundings: camping in an orchard surrounded by rolling countryside. Very peaceful and quiet. It was amazing to get an entire row to yourself. Toilets were very clean and modern. Wel supplied with water. Great range of ciders!

Disliked: The showers were warm but could be cleaner. Felt a bit exposed by the missing glass in the door of one shower. No hot water in washing up taps but managed to wash up.

Liked: Great Location nice and peaceful.

Disliked: No Dogs aloud on Campsite. But the owners dog were left wondering around and stole food from our tent right in front of us aswell as other people's. Facilities where dirty the toilet in the shower wasn't even attached to the floor! Not enough toilets or showers on the campsite. Staff weren't overly friendly.

We love camping here and it's now become a yearly trip each September! End of season is a great time to go, with apples falling around you and it's a bit quieter. There are good facilities (2 showers, 2 toilets) and of course, the on-site bar and shop. Last year we sat out in the beautiful garden sampling the ciders and listenting to some unexpected live music. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is very chilled and the ciders are excellent!

Really nice spot, delicious cider, interesting tour, lovely staff and dogs, lovely shop, huge pitches with firepits provided - all around a very pleasant camping trip.

Liked: We loved the site! Beautiful pitches, the softest grass I've ever camped on. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the on-site entertainment and social facilities were fab - we didn't leave the campsite for 3 days!

Disliked: It would be nice if cars were asked to remove to the carpark after kit was dropped off - at times it felt as if we were camping in a carpark!
Also, the toilet and shower facilities weren't really sufficient for the number of campers, although I know that on the weekend that we were there, there was an issue with the booking system.
Finally, a toilet/shower cleaning rota would be beneficial as they weren't always as clean as one would expect, although this may also have been related to the booking issue.

Liked: A beautiful site, out of the way of main road so no car noise. We went on an evening they had live music and were serving food which was lovely, and the cider tasting room open for a cold pint. Pitches in the orchard were very spacious and felt quite private. Useful amenities including toilets & showers, and an outdoor washing up station. We didn't use it but the tasting room also opened in the morning for coffee. A great site that we can't wait to use again.
