I live close by and have never had any issues until today at approx 9am.
One of your horse riders was walking her horse on the road towards the Ridger. I passed extremely slowly as I always do, this is a regular route for me and am very used to horses on the roads here. But for some reason this lady was immediately outraged.
Perhaps she did not realise I was there as my car is very quiet being electric, but she immediately started screaming a foul mouthed tirade and hit my car with her horse whip!!
Bizarre and shocking behaviour. I was approaching very slowly as I had seen the horse from distance and moving past at 5mph/ walking speed.

I asked what the issue was and was told I could have killed her! and she told me to "F off"!. I repeated that I had driven extremely slowly out of courtesy and she had no right to swear at me or touch my car - her behaviour was totally out of order but she doubled down and continued with the expletives.

This is not the behaviour of someone whom should be in charge of a horse on public roads. Those responsible for horse movements at this location should take the appropriate action and remove this person from transitting on public roads until better trained.

Please ensure all of your riders are courteous and able to manage the pressure of walking horses on public roads or we will have further difficulties.

Lovely yard in a superb position for local rides. Good facilities and fabulous grazing. Sell home grown organic sausages and their own brand pure apple juice. Apples are grown on the farm. Looks like there's going to be a bumper crop in 22.
