This company have been amazing from start to finish.
The quote was completely reasonable for the amount of work involved in removing and replacing 3 thatched roofs from garden buildings.
Dave and his team arrived early on the day as arranged and worked tirelessly throughout. They continued into the evening until the whole job was complete.
The workers were polite, hardworking and completely professional. Every area they worked on was left clean and tidy. The finished job was outstanding!
I have had numerous compliments regarding the quality of the workmanship.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending Chiltern Garden Buildings, it has been an absolute pleasure to deal with them.

From start to finish the experience was easy. A no pressure initial visit to talk about replacing our rotting and failing thatch roof, a short wait and then delivery and installation in one day. Professional throughout. They disposed of my old hut roof and everyone working for the company were pleasant and polite and they tidied everything well afterwards too. We had a large reed thatch gazebo roof over a deep pond that was in desperate need of replacement (see before and after photos). David at Chiltern Garden Buildings was extremely helpful and knowledgeable from the outset. There was no pressure selling and David visited our house to scope out the work and explain our options. We went for a combination reed thatch as a replacement. David spent a couple days with his workers removing the old roofing and fitting the new. He and his staff were polite, courteous and extremely tidy throughout. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Chiltern Garden Buildings to anyone looking to renovate or replace their garden roofing.

I ordered a set of replacement canvas sides and roof liner for my 3mtr dia garden thatched gazebo. Having forwarded the dimensions, David and his team were exceptionally helpful, courteous and professional. Keeping me updated, within a short time period their canvas maker had produced exactly my requirements, 6no side panels and a roof liner in top quality durable material, very pleased. Dealing with Chiltern Garden Buildings was a pleasure from start to finish. The staff were all polite, helpful and friendly. I sent photos and received a quote within 3 days. A 2 man gang arrived promptly and did an excellent job replacing my gazebo thatch roof. The invoice arrived 3 days later. Altogether an excellent company- highly recommended.

These guys are so efficient. Quotation was based on a site meeting and was straight to the point. Turned up on time and did the job with no fuss and no contamination. Left the area of work spotless and engineers very nice indeed. Highly recommend. New roof excellent with anti bird netting.
