Tempted to try this placerather than the cafe on the main street by the lure of a fresh crab sandwich on homemade brown bread, and it was delicious. Well worth the small walk up the lane. Two very nice and well made coffee's. Only strange thing was we asked for both our sandwiches on the brown bread but told twice the tuna came on a white roll, eventually we got the stubborn lady to check but she still did not really like it as they might not have enough left to make crab ones. Still no idea where her thinking was on this.
This aside very nice place sat outside the bakery in the sunshine enjoying a small unique place

Wholemeal bread was tasteless. Sausage roll and pastie, average. Rock cake and feta with spinach excellent.
Staff friendly, atmosphere authentic village bakery.

Coffee is English so that part you should skip!
But very pleasant and friendly staff and amazing food!
And there were no seats in or any shade to dit

Delightful little hole in the wall.

Staff was super-friendly and everything was great - our still warm scone, pastie, coffees and frosted breads for our girls.

There’s a lovely park down the road behind the bakery that was perfect for enjoying our spoils

We visit every time we come down to Charmouth with our caravan - twice a year.
Extremely friendly, pleasant staff and the food is always first class!
We normally call in to buy a couple of their delicious pasties but usually leave with an Apple Dorset cake, fresh rolls or similar!!
