Perplexed black woman. In 2022, this comment still shocks. Racism is alive more than the fish.

Charles Saunders only sells frozen fish. There are not that many outlets that stock fresh fish anymore. I drove to Yate from my home in Bristol, 7 miles away because I wanted some quality, fresh fish. Anyway, the staff seemed to think a black woman in Yate is an alien and was told by the person assigned to speak with me that they do not stock “ethnic” fish. Charles Saunders, fish is just fish and there is no ethnic fish or ethnic me. This company has made a lot of money in Bristol selling “ethnic fish”. Please train your staff and let them know there is a whole planet out there beyond Yate and the British Isles.

I recently ordered a box of medium size gloves from this company via Amazon. CS delivered a box of small size gloves which I returned. The cost of the goods was refunded however the T&C stated that return postage would be refunded if the company was at fault. Despite an online message and telephone calls the company I have not received a reply or a refund.

Great selection of products. Friendly/helpfull staff. Prices range from seriously cheap, up to about what you'd expect to pay at a supermarket for a few products, But it's way more convenient to go here and order in person than to go and get stuck in the cues and chaos down the road at Tesco or Morrisons. Shopping here also keeps you well out of sneezing range from the mass of people aggressively panic buying pasta and toilet rolls in the supermarkets.

The staff here don't seem to mind (Or don't show it if they do. 😀 ) people who aren't connected to the catering industry going in and making smaller sized orders for their household either.

If you apply for an online account with them you'll get access to pages upon pages of the special offers they're currently running. Some of the special offer items are so cheap you'll think the person inputting the details must have accidentally missed a digit when putting in the price ! 😀

Can't recomend them enough.

Absolutely fantastic service, from entry to exit the staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Just how it should be.

Found out about these guys through the recent global issues, thought I’d give them a try.

Great way to show off to the in-laws!!

I used to be a commercial customer of Charles Saunders many years ago and I recently remembered they offered there services to members of the public. I was having the in-laws around for lunch and by in-laws I mean the entire partners family, all 3 generations of them.

There was a need for some swanky desserts, the need to impress was high!!

Lets put it this way the meal was a success with some posh starters (frozen and then straight in the oven for 20 mins) then the selection of individual desserts I offered up (some straight from the freezer) was a real crowd pleaser.

I've since been back to cater for my sons birthday party, every guest was asking who did the catering!!

The guys in the office messed up my order however one of the managers came out of his way and dropped off the delivery himself that evening. Very good customer service

Awful do not buy from they can’t control their delivery I paid next day delivery got a message bag was too heavy(16kg) alternative delivery arranged
Tracked shipment and complained to firm they said they would sort out haha nothing happened
Got a message saying at 0736 it was five miles away and be delivered by 2000 hrs that day
Still not arrived and funny tracking info disappeared
At the same time I ordered from three other

firms all came no problems and yes all 16 kg

They have agreed a refund but will be 14 days after order
Hardly any useful contact
Big shame go to their competitors if you want flour
