It was a delectable day out - a sunny day touring the vineyard, learning delightful facts about the process of creating the wine we love to drink and the history of it all.

Our tour guide, Andrew, really made the experience for us. He was so funny but gave us such great insights while answering our many questions.

The walkthrough of the wine tasting was so much fun, Andrew helped us explore each wine individually while coaching us to be better wine “snobs”.

For a date out or a group activity, you can’t do better than things like this.

We had a wonderful, early evening tour of the vineyard. Andrew was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine-tasting and delicious 3-course meal in The Swan on-site restaurant afterwards. Would thoroughly recommend the Luxury Dining Experience as we also came home with a complimentary bottle of bubbly!

We booked this last minute during a post -Christmas holiday to Hastings, and couldn't have been happier that we did.

Our tour guide Tom got the balance between keeping things interesting and getting into the real detail around the vineyards and winery just right. We learned an incredible amount and we was friendly and open to questions throughout.

The tasting after the tour was very enjoyable, the wine was obviously delicious and it all felt incredibly good value for money

We visited the vineyard yesterday as part of a gift voucher for my birthday, combined with a night and evening meal at the wonderful nearby The Print House. Due to a mix up, we arrived too late for the tour but the brilliant team arranged for a separate tour after we had done the tasting, for which we were very grateful.
All the wines we tried were excellent, some more to our taste than others, which was to be expected. The biggest surprise was finding a fizz that Lovely Husband actually liked (naturally, the most expensive but still very good value when compared with champagne prices!). Our expert was very knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed hearing about the wines as well as the history of the Chapel Down vineyard and their outstanding sparkling wine.
Lou took us on our tour and was brilliant- we would never have guessed it was her first tour! We really enjoyed seeing the vines and learning about the process before trying a couple more wines and then buying a couple of cases. This is a great way to spend a few hours and we were delighted to be able to support such a fabulous British business - we highly recommend Chapel Down.
