Great place to sit with a coffee and have some lunch. Usually have some live music, decent cup of coffee. Shame the council are not looking after the building properly.

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced and tasty snack then this isn’t the place for you. Wraps that were filled with soggy shredded lettuce and a tiny amount of proper filling , one with uncooked Halumi and the other with a horrible , greasy Coronation Chicken. A thimble full of soggy salad as a side dish with sprinkle of tortilla chips completed this abomination. I’ve got the appetite of a Labrador and struggled to eat it but my more human partner left more than half. Avoid at all cost.

Pleasant cafe / pizzeria/ ice cream parlour located within the bandstand complex. Nicely decorated, good service although we just had coffees.

Well maintained during our off-season visit

Disappointed with the restaurant. Asked for jacket potato with tuna. Said it came with side salad; the tiniest potion of salad I've ever had, which was in a small ramekin! Potato was small. Chefs looked unhappy and flustered. Birds from outside were flying in and eating crumbs off tables! Empty tables were not cleaned, but when a member of staff sat at a table for a break with her coffee, her colleague was quick to clean her table! I would not go back there.
