First visit:

Bought bacon, pie and black pudding. Black pudding was £2.45 for 3 slices (270g). Neatly packaged and labelled as Causeway.

Got home, unwrapped black pudding, peeled off the Bury Black Pudding Company tape and realised it was the same product as Tesco's - £1.20 for 4 slices (230g).

Felt such a fool. Twice the price and poorly disguised. But ... on the plus side we've got a new after dinner story.

An absolutely fantastic butchers, greeted with smiles & good (funny) conversations was a great start by the ladies. I only wanted 1 chicken breast to make a small curry but came away with bacon & chipolatas for breakfast & venison sausages for dinner. Returned following day for chicken pie, which was packed full of chicken, no room for gravy & the pastry was so light (I don’t go on thick pastry) so another win for me & hubby who chose it. We have farm shops & old style butchers close by but if only we had a butchers like Causeway near to us (Woodbridge, Suffolk) id be in it almost every day. Honestly, it made our holiday, thank you.

Beautiful fresh local meat and produce. Some ready frozen products also on sale.The Norfolk sausage and the pork burger is amazing. The people serving were friendly and helpful

A surprising find while on holiday in the area. Really good array of meats all very tasty and fairly priced. Lovely staff. We bought a steak and kidney pie to eat when we got back home but were surprised when cutting it after cooking that it lacked gravy hence the meat was very dry. Is this a Norfolk speciality or was it a case of forgetfulness. Please enlighten.

We are on holiday here in Norfolk. Called in to see what their sausages were like. Not at all disappointed. Had the pork and mustard sausage and also a pork pie. They were very tasty. We will be back in June 2023 to stock up with meats again.

Amazing array of meat produce of the highest quality. The Moroccan sausage rolls are to die for! The brazing steak we bought melted in the mouth. Well worth a visit

Brilliant selection of home reared produces, the pork chops were amazing, also the lamb burgers were delicious, I haven’t eaten the pork sausages yet!

Have bought their steak pies in the past never had a problem, but this time the bottom pastry was raw and would not cook, well packed with meat but it was very tough, had to bin it, please check that the meat is tender
