Had a few things from this postal bakery recently and really Enjoyed the all! My favourites were definitely the cake slices.. funfetti, chocolate & pistachio are the flavours I have tried and all have been amazing. Considering they are posted I was so surprised at how well they turned up! Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. If I had to pick, the Funfetti one is my FAVE!

Came here during the open day where they were selling by the slice. Tried a few different items and they tasted nice, and flavourful. The cakes were soft, full of flavour. Would like to come during the next open day and try a few more items from the extensive list.

Bought a box of brownies as a birthday gift for a friend.
The website is amazingly user friendly and I love the option to select a delivery date. I received constant updates from the delivery company and the brownies were (apparently) delicious …. She hid them and didn’t share so that’s good enough for me ❤️? would 100% buy again x

We have been customers of Cat's for years and adore her creative and conscientious approach to baking. It has been a joy to watch this one-woman empire of cake kind grow and after getting engaged, there was only ever one baker in mind. This summer Cat made our wedding cake and it was every bit as incredible as we knew it would be. The level of care and attention that goes into each cake is second to none; whether it's a slice on Saturdays or a celebratory centrepiece, a cake from Cat Food is always a good idea.

Utterly, utterly phenomenal. Slice Saturday (so called because the lovely Cat makes it very clear she only opens her shop to the public on Saturday mornings- 10am until she sells out - so that she can spend the week concenrating on customer orders) is a huge hit in our house.

It (almost) goes without saying that the cakes are brilliant, generous portions, fabulous flavours, and all great tasting, but the customer service is next level (even helping the kids with their maths by getting them involved in working out how much we've spent).

Cat could doubtless make more money by opening her shop during the week, but chooses, instead, to concentrate on customer orders (made via her very easy to use website) - so you know whatever you order is given 100% attention.

I bought a cake slice from this small business after seeing a post on tiktok, and I love supporting small places and love cake! But unfortunately when my cake came it was crumbly and the icing was crunchy, I wanted to give some helpful feedback to the bakery but was unfortunately blocked by them afterwards.
So now I'll leave a honest review.
The cake is £12 a slice not Inc postage.
The chocolate cake is dry, has little to no flavour with crunchy icing, the slice is just a little taller than a teaspoon.

I've been getting the subscription box for a couple of years now and it's the perfect monthly treat. I also visit the Slice Saturday cake sale whenever I can. Everything is always exquisite and you can tell Cat uses the best ingredients. I love the cake pots, cookies and basque cheesecake in particular. I have also recently sent brownies as a gift to someone and they were very well-received.

We went into Cat Food Cakes while on a walk, as we were drawn in by the beautiful cakes on display in the window.

After a very friendly reception, we chose our treats (cakes and a cupcake), and we enjoyed them fully!
