How haven’t we known about this place sooner. Popped in yesterday for some ribeye steaks, we were fairly late in the day but came home with what we needed.

Like everyone we are trying to reduce supermarket shopping and replace with more local shopping. And this gem of a place and prices has been a brilliant find.

I now find myself questioning what’s being added to the meat in supermarkets as clearly a massive difference in taste and quality when Cooked. The supermarket ribeyes appear to have added water (stews not sears the meat when too wet).

Being mostly meat eaters and wanting good quality meat to go, this place seems to offer just that.

Brilliant service from Joshua (and we were very late arriving) so thank you for helping and the cooking advice. We are just sad we have to now wait until next week to grab a proper order.

Ordered venison and after a 10 day, wait I contacted castle game. I eventually got a response full of apologies and a promise to make up the poor service with vouchers towards a future purchase. Venison eventually turned up nearly 2 weeks after ordering. Not the best venison I've had and to add insult no vouchers ever arrived as an apology.

Saw a Facebook Post on Friday saying they had Cote de Boeuf on offer. Immediately jumped into the car and headed out. Got 1.8kg of meat for less than half what my previous supplier would have charged. Barbecued an 830g lump on Friday night and it was fabulous.

What a find, we bought langoustines and oysters today , never tasted such fresh sea food, was given sound advice on how to cook them. And really friendly service. Will try and work my way up to lobster next time although it might freak out the kids.
