I find it bemusing that people think of this as a quality brand. I have had some of the products before, I especially dislike their Earl Grey celebrated blend but we recently received a gift box. I will say that the crate is lovely, lord knows what we will do with it, the tins are also lovely, shame they don't have paper labels for re use and wil send up in the bin. So the packaging igood quality but the contents averag. There are people that supply hampers with their own brand of high quality products, sadly C&B are not one of them.

A zero stars would be more accurate for this “Luxury” food company.
Super cheap quality hampers sold for posh unique expensive ones. Also rubbish customer service, after getting in touch due to foreign body found in one of their product, zero follow up and complete radio silence.
Avoid! Zero luxury!
Use local farm shops, supporting local community instead.

Ordered a hamper as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately it arrived damaged as the courier was not so gentle with the package.

Cartwright & Butler were fantastic and dispatched another hamper out to me within days.

The customer service is second to none and the attention to detail with the hamper is excellent.

Love your shortbreads caramel flavour . Such a delightful packaging and we got your tin from Selfridge London ..

Tastes heavenly, such a nice crisp and wish it was available in Germany ..

The triple chocolate biscuits are terrible, extremely sweet, the sugar is actually crunchy and not melted in, you can feel the granules in your mouth. When I looked at the percentage ingredients I saw they were 42% sugar!!! Basically cheap junk biscuits packaged in a fancy tin to try and look posh. Very expensive too I believe (these were a gift)

I ordered a £195 hamper as a Christmas present on 20 Dec - tight, but according to their website still doable. If it had been a bit late, I wouldn't have thought twice about it. I received no further correspondence until 14 Jan, when they sent a Despatch Note - first I knew they were that overdue. I have just (23 Jan) heard from the recipients that it still has not arrived!

I thought they looked upmarket from their website. My wife tells me it's well known they're all mouth and no trousers - a pretty website but actually downmarket. Wish I'd known when I ordered. Now you do, don't use them.

UPDATE 1/2/22: C&B did eventually resolve this satisfactorily.

Received a tin of products as Christmas gift. Underwhelmed. Really nice fudge. English Breakfast tea tasted like dust. Biscuits were OK. Tiny mince pies were not very tasty. I have never heard of this company before. Suspect that this is a made up ‘posh’ company, as the products were nothing special.
