Lovely cafe attached to the farm shop. Great place for coffee tea, cake, or light lunch. Toilets available, disabled friendly. Had a lovely hot chocolate. Enjoyed a ceasar salad full of chicken, anchovies, eggs, and croutons. Not overpowered with lots of lettuce. It was very tasty and a nice surprise.
We've used both the cafe and farm shop for many years. Excellent butchers, fishmongers, green grocery, and so much more. Nice little play area for young ones. Decent amount of parking, including disabled bays.

Wonderful farm shop and adjacent cafe. Packed to the gunnels and no surprise there as its quite delightful.
I work nearby and visited for a supply of fantastic fruit and vegetables.
Quality is excellent and worth choosing over supermarkets any day.

Fresh , Organic food. Large selection from fresh fruit and veg , meat and fish. Large selection of other food products and drink from non alcoholic to alcoholic.
You will pay a little bit more but you will be getting quality food.
Parking is free and access is easy

First time we visited Calcott Hall Farm. Initially went to the restaurant for breakfast but ended up buying stuff from both the farm shop and brewery. What a great place, friendly staff and quality food and drink. Like your M&S compared to basic Tesco, not the cheapest but well worth a visit as everything so fresh and the place was spotless. Even have an onsite butcher and fishmongers. You get everything you need (and wine and beer) in one place. Even Ronnie the Cat agrees the Brentwood brewery beers are top notch. Will definitely be going there again.

Bought chickens kebabs at meat counter only to be told they had already been frozen so dont refreeze. Seriously? In my 62 years I have never experienced this practice. You expect fresh food in a farm shop. Won’t buy again.

Well! Five Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 What a gem! Calcott Hall Farm. Family-run business, established 40+ years ago. If you like fresh produce - grown on the farm itself - and locally sourced, with plastic-free options, then this is a must see.

Along with the Barnyard Cafe (established two years ago) which serves fresh produce, and the Brentwood Brewery adjacent, an under 7s playground, ample parking, and accessibility, it is sure to make a lovely afternoon out.

Adorned with seasonal flowers and plants for sale, this beautiful spot in Brentwood is a hidden gem. It is surrounded by farmland, bluebell woodlands and fields with local produce growing.

Calcott Hall Farm sells a beautiful array of dried pulses, seeds, nuts, fruit, vegetables, locally produced honey, wine, salad dressings, fresh fruit juices, freshly home-made cakes, cheeses (vegan options too!), along with freshly baked bread on site, chutneys n jams. Too much to mention. It's an Aladin's Cave of pure food mouth-watering indulgence.

There's also a fishmongers and butchers, and a help yourself section of fresh and frozen loose food which you weigh a pay. There's cards, bespoke gifts and even high end produce for dogs (mainly) and cats, along with bedding for small animals and bird food.

The staff are amazing and so very friendly, chatty and knowledgeable, with superb customer service. Prices vary from cheap to the high end market, with some produce same as supermarkets. A good way to go "green" if you're looking at reducing your packaging waste. Trolleys are provided. You'll need one!! The choice is amazing!!!

Adjacent is the Brentwood Brewery which produces a variety of beers and has local events and special occasion events. Look them up.

There is a petrol station very nearby, Brentwood High Street one mile away, Brentwood Leisure Centre two miles away, Thorndon and South Weald Nature Parks a few miles away.

Go on! Make a day of it at Calcott Hall Farm! A truly, very special place.

So grab a wine, beer, bread, cheese, fruit and snacks from Calcott and go for a picnic with the kids, or enjoy freshly made food from the cafe and sit out on the veranda and look at the beautiful views of the countryside. What you waiting for... (oh, photos don't do it justice)

Quiche and salad was perfectly nice, but very small portions and therfore didn't seem like good value for money. Just give a bigger portion of salad, so people don't feel ripped off and still hungry when they leave!
