What started well did not end well!
C&C Agricultural Ltd started the garden of our dreams and all was going well, there were some stoppages due to bad weather but in all it was going well.
However this did not last. It became painfully apparently that the cliche is true it’s the staff that make a company and when Chris’s two guys moved on to go it alone the cracks appeared. They gave 6-8weeks notice but rather than knuckling down and getting the job done. C&C decided the teams time was best used on other smaller jobs, in hindsight small jobs bringing in money quicker than ours. Then once they left, things slowed up and quality started to slip. Mistakes were being made and a mounting snagging list was forming. At this time we were informed C&C were waiting 4-5weeks for materials (which we had paid for) to complete our job and to compound the delay the C&C owner informed us of a family illness, to which we were very sympathetic and acknowledged the delay it would have on our job.

Unfortunately It came to our attention that C&C was still working on other jobs! and soon enough our job became a weekend only task. It finally came to a halt when C&C contacted us to say he could not complete the job as due to family illness he was stopping work for an unforeseen period.

We appreciated his predicament, but as we took over it became apparent that many lies had been told. The materials we were waiting on had never been ordered costing us time and money. We have also discovered that C&C never stopped working and was actually on a job the day after they rang us to quit our job.

There is always a silver lining!
We managed to contact the guys who had left some time ago and they have kindly started to complete the work and rectify some of the mistakes (some we are stuck with). Hope this review can help others to either see the signs and get out or make Better choices than us.

Chris was fantastic - gave sound advice about our original design idea (he was right !) and also advised on the colours and finishes that would work best.
They were brilliant while they worked and cleaned up all the normal construction debris (I’m sure parts were cleaner than before they started - haha) and the finished job is absolutely stunning.
This is the third job we have had done by C&C and I would heartily recommend them.

Chris and his hard working team have now done a couple of jobs for me, one was a base laid for a very substantial garden room and shed .They have also laid a very large patio area in natural stone and connected our top and bottom parts of the garden with a pathway, both jobs were carried out in a professional way, Chris has invested in some great tools and equipment to help the job along, the work went smoothly on both occasions, the time keeping, hard working, knowledgeable team are also tidy . I would recommend them to anyone, and will have them back to do further work that I have plans for.
