Whilst cycling the Speyside Way I had a small mechanical issue which required fixing and with no cycle shops in the area I came across Gammacks Hardware store on the high street in Aberlour. After explaining the problem, Gordy the owner and an experienced cyclist produced the very part I needed, a small M5 bolt for my shoe cleat which had become detached and lost on the trail.
I cannot sing the praises of this traditional store highly enough, thankyou Gordy and all who work at Gammacks.

Gammacks is a wonder store, they have a tremendous stock of a terrific variety of goods. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful always a place to go first to find just what you want.

I spent hours looking for something on tinternet. Literally hours of my life. Eventually found what I needed - ordered it - doesn't work, nowhere close. I then found out that Cammack - 5 mins away - does leather work onsite: anything you want, handmade to order. So, something apparently unavailable anywhere in the world was just down the road all the time. And there you have it: everything from bulbs (both kinds) to custom leather work; the range of things you can only find in that vanishing breed, the village ironmonger. Use them or lose them, everyone.

Shopped at Charles Gammock for many years, and it was a great experience for anyone as the store owner Charlie is a great character, and if he hadn't got what I wanted, he would order it in, and was a great joke teller.😀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Local shop selling everything you can imagine. Iron monger. Batteries, key cutting, leather repairs, belt making, dog collars, saddles, tools, paint, kitchen items, camping items, gas. Unbelivable value too!

Little Town shop selling anything and everything and staff always know where something is. Friendly service and good prices are perfect reason to shop local and keep the small shops trading!
