Bought meat for dinner on Saturday at the Faversham shop for dinner on Sunday , not until i was prepping dinner on Sunday did I notice the date on the meat. meat was to be used on the Friday. they sold me meat that was already out of date. GROSS! I have tried to call and left messages at the main shop in Canterbury as well as Faversham. i have also emailed and have had no response to calls or emails ! AVOID AT ALL COSTS . i will be back to get a refund .

Not one to write reviews, as quite frankly I don’t see the point, but this has to be said. Pushy staff with an air of arrogance. Pre packaged meat slathered in bought-in pre made “marinades”. Awful. We chose what looked like a nice piece of fore rib, on the bone as you’d expect, how wrong we were. The worst meat we have ever had, hands down. Cooked medium rare. Chewy and lacking in any sort of flavour. £32 and we left half of it.

If you are looking for quality, well treated meat at a traditionally skilled, well presented butchers go to Macknade or The Tartan Butchers, pay the price and enjoy your dinner. It’s worth it.

My Wife and I came across this butchers in Faversham .
We purchased a lot of meats including a three rib joint that they kindly cut for us .
Staff were friendly . And they have great deals .
We were really looking forward to our now two rib of beef joint , but was very disappointed after cooking the joint slowly for Approx 2.5 hours it was very tough and in edible .
A complete waste of money .

Having been a small business that used this butchers for years, everything there has changed and for the worse. Promised deliveries over and over without arriving and also the wrong orders recently. Poor customer service when complaining. The impression was that my business was too small and not important enough to them. They even had the cheek after six years as a customer to tell me that it was not all about me!! as they were busy delivering to bigger customers. Why would you promise delivery in the first place if you are too busy, surely good customer service would be to be honest. I asked for Lee the boss but guess what, he is on holiday for 2 weeks. Rudderless ship maybe I will definitely be going elsewhere.

Since moving to Kent 2 years ago I have always bought my meat at Brodgale butchers. The quality of their meat is always fantastic and the staff are very friendly. During 1st lockdown I brought my meat from them and had it delivered to my home. I will never go back to buying meat from supermarket. Brogdale's meat is far superior!
