We have just spent a fabulous afternoon at Bushblades. I have wanted to walk with Alpacas for a long time and I was not disappointed. Ann met us and took us to them. We then had a lovely walk around their farmland. We spent time in the fields meeting the other boys and girls. Ann took us to her "Ann cave" and I had a go at carding the wool while she showed how to spin it. I came home with a gorgeous handmade cushion. There are some lovely bits to buy. She then showed us the front and garden of her beautiful home before we had a visit to the little farm shop. Ann was so knowledgeable and friendly, it was an absolute pleasure. Thank you

Had a lovely morning at the farm with the alpacas! Ernie and Draco were an absolute joy to walk and Ann was brilliant at answering our questions and having a good laugh. We also treat ourselves to a scarf and some firecracker burgers. A brilliant experience and will be back to do it again!

Had an amazing morning with my niece and nephew at Bushblades Farm. We met, fed and walked the alpacas. We also had a tour around the farm and were able to meet and feed the other animals.
Bushblades is a wonderful place and everything a modern farm should be. Balancing fun, education and sustainability whilst putting their animals welfare at the heart of everything they do. Thank you

We had a fantastic time walking the Alpacas. Feeding them carrots and stroking them. We met the pigs and cows. Well worth a visit especially if you have kids.

Lots of meat available in the farm shop, we came away with enough sausages to feed an army. Lovely hosts. Definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely brilliant morning meeting, walking and feeding alpacas at Bushblades Farm. Ann was so lovely and we got a tour of the farm to see the other animals too! Highly recommend!

My four children & I had a wonderful time meeting the alpacas last Saturday. All four have different levels of confidence around animals, and Ann really catered individually to all four of them. Draco the alpaca has such a wonderful personality, too. My children absolutely loved having him sniff them. Came home with some lovely memories, great pictures & a packet of honey & mustard sausages purchased from the farm shop, which were the best sausages we’ve had in years! We will be back again soon 🙂

We had an amazing experience walking the alpacas yesterday! It was our first time and we will be definitely coming back. We don't have a car so we had to take the bus from Newcastle, although it was quite easy to get there. Our group was very excited, we got the chance to feed them and have a nice walk around the farm. Ann was very welcoming and fun, she even showed us a few products that she's made out of alpaca wool, which was pretty cool. Overall, it was a very fun experience for a Sunday with friends, totally recommend 🙂
