Beautiful gardens - lovely scenery! We didn't have time to visit the gardens, but will definitely go again when we are on holiday. We visited the cafe - and the food was excellent, with brilliant staff! The nursery was superb - and I treated myself to some gorgeous plants! The lady looking after the shop and plants was lovely - really helpful and friendly. Altogether a great visit - and we look forward to a longer stay next time! Thank you!

Beautiful gardens with panoramic views across the valley. 13 acres of gardens woodland walk and wild flower meadow with a small lake. Tea rooms, craft centre and nursery. Quite hilly in places but plenty of benches to sit on and admire the view.

Burrow Farm Gardens is beautiful and peaceful! As one enters the drive the view is amazing. Parking is easy and walks round the garden are from easy to steep. There are plenty of garden seats and choices of walks. There is a cafe which provides light lunches or afternoon tea. The season ticket is good value.

We bought a Gardener's World 2 for 1 gardens ticket for the first time. Burrow Farm gardens was on the list of participating gardens and is not far from us so last Thursday we drove over to take a look. It's between Honiton and Axminster and well signposted off the A35. It's in a beautiful location on a hillside with views over adjoining countryside. Price is £11.50 per adult. You can book online if you want but you are then charged £12 and is not necessary anyway. The gardens were a mixture of formal planting, lovely woodland areas, mown meadows, wild flower meadows and a rose garden, millennium gardens, grasses etc. There are some really colourful Rhododendrons and Azaleas in bloom at the moment and they will be out for the next few weeks. Numerous benches are dotted around to rest or just admire the views. The ground is still soft in places due to all the rains so come prepared. There is a well stocked Nursery at reasonable prices, along with a gift shop, Popular Tea rooms, loos and garden ironmongery available. Altogether a very worthwhile and enjoyable day out.

Really stunning gardens with very pleasant tea rooms that serves simple but very well executed food. Highlights were the koi pond in the millennium garden, the glade of western skunk cabbage at the bottom of the garden, and spotting newts in the wildlife pond. For more traditional garden lovers there are also lots of rhododendrons, daffodils and azaleas just starting which are spectacular. There is also a small but interesting nursery with some unusual plants. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We spent just over four hours here.
