Megan made a fabulous cake for my mum’s 90th birthday. She listened to my ideas and presented some much welcomed ones of her own. We had two tiers, one with raspberry and the other with lemon. Both were big hits. The advice note included on how to cut the cake was of great benefit. I would have no hesitation recommending Megan at Burnside Bakehouse.

Megan has baked two cakes for me now for family celebrations, most recently for my mum and dad’s 40th wedding anniversary over the weekend past. Everyone commented on how lovely the cake was and it really was a special part of their day. Can’t recommend Megan enough!

I booked a private bento cake decorating workshop with friends and we had so much fun! Megan was so friendly, knowledgable and helpful, we all had a brilliant night and left saying we would love to do it again 😍

Popped by this morning after rave reviews for the sugary goodness.
OH MY......the cookie was delish, coffee lovely, but most of all the owner was so friendly.
Shop is decorated beautifully.
I would highly recommend the yummy goodness you can get from this little Gem.

I'm not a cake person... Correction! I wasn't a cake person until I was introduced to this lovely wee shop and their delicious cakes. Can't get enough now. Treats galore and Im back today for my sons Birthday on his request. Buyer beware you will be hooked!!

Amazing cakes with a new selection regularly we've yet to have a cake thats not been amazing we got the selection box for mothers day which was beautiful and i'm ordering the xmas box next time i'm in.

I have ordered an anniversary cake and a birthday cake from Burnside Bakehouse. Both have been 110%. Megan puts in lots of hard work when designing your cake and listens to what you want. The cakes are freshly baked and taste delicious. I have booked a third cake for later in the year. Very reasonably priced too!

Discovered this fabulous little cafe/bakery today. The cakes are delicious and so many to choose from. Gluten free and vegan options are available. Coffee was good and came in a mug rather than a small cup which we all loved!!! Will be recommending this place to everyone I know!!!!
