Broughton Sanctuary looked brilliant and most impressive with tree planting. We are having a group meeting there and were advised to do a visit to know the way. Met a very nice worker who said our wee girls were fine on paths and leads. We also rang Avalon to confirm that dogs are accepted and was advised that they are on leads. Very accepting or an expanding and developing Nature Reserve.

An incredible location for those seeking rest and restoration, not only for the body for the nature around. They've carved out a little nature haven and started a 3000 acres rewilding project worth seeing if you're interested in how rewilding and conservation projects grow. Avalon spa is one of the best in the UK hands down facilities.

We got married here in July and stayed for the week before with family at Eden. It was absolutely amazing, and the Broughton Hall staff (especially Simon and Jake) did everything they could do make our time enjoyable. Nothing was too much bother and it really relaxed us. The quality of everything on offer at Broughton is amazing, from the landscaping to the holiday cottages, Avalon spa and Utopia. Really beautiful; we’re planning to visit every wedding anniversary!

What can we say about Broughton Sanctuary... Well it's quite simply one of the best wedding venues around!!

Broughton Sanctuary holds a special place in our hearts! We photographed our first ever wedding at Utopia way back in 2011 and we have been so lucky that we have been able to photograph many weddings in the years since.

What makes Broughton Sanctuary so unique for weddings is that it has so much variety in it's locations. If you want a grand elegant wedding then the Hall itself is perfect. If you want a small intimate wedding then Eden could be the one or if you are having a laid back wedding with the emphasis on fun and laughter then Utopia is the place!

It has multiple properties on the estate where you and your loved ones can stay and provide a great location for getting ready on your wedding day which is hassle free.

From a wedding photography perspective we love it because it just feeds creativity. Whichever way you turn there are amazing backdrops for either candid photographs or those beautiful bride and groom portraits it's not copy and paste photography like some wedding venues feel.

After over 11 years and 200+ weddings we have shot Broughton Sanctuary is still our absolute Number 1 venue and we are excited for a future visits.

We stayed at broughton for a week while on a wellbeing course and we still didn’t get the chance to see all of it. It is a beautiful estate in the middle of nature, lovely landscaping, and grand interior design that takes you back in time. All our meals were prepared by the talented cooks who provided a delicious array of fresh vegan delights.

Broughton is a great base to explore the Yorkshires and also works as a venue for wellbeing retreats, weddings and big family reunions.

We got married here and we had such an amazing time. It was so nice to have friends stay with us for the weekend.

If you plan to get married here be aware communication can be slow at times but just try to relax because it was all fantastic in the end! The staff are really kind & helpful.

We booked Yellison farm cottage for my wife’s birthday party with 6 family and close friends for a 3 night stay in January 2022. Simon the Estate Manager contacted us prior our arrival and advised us he was not happy with the heating system in our rented property and he was going to move us to another property.(The Manse). Simon met us at the property to make sure we were happy with the change of cottage.This property had all the facilities and comfort we needed and was a larger cottage. We could not have been more happy with this property. Ana and the property management team were excellent and handled all our queries immediately which we thought was total customer service. The Manse is very well situated on the estate for the amenities provided and The Bull pub is a 10 minute walk from the property. We will definitely be visiting Broughton Hall again in the near future. Thanks again to all the staff we had a brilliant 3 days.

I went to Broughton Hall for my cousin's wedding and the place is incredible - a truly beautiful and charming English estate which offers the perfect wedding venue. The spa on site is also wonderfully designed (aesthetically I think you'd be hard pressed to rival). Staff were brilliant throughout the weekend (and also managed to locate my lost jacket and post back to me promptly!). Thoroughly recommend.
