I bought a small item from Brookfood at the end of October. I requested to receive an invoice (receipt) for it on several occasions, but this hasn't been forthcoming. I didn't even get any acknowledgement.
You were quick to take payment, but your follow up service in my case has been really poor. I hope you acknowledge this feedback.

Great place to get everything in the world of baking. Huge amount of stock and friendly staff that dropped everything to help me out. Customer service could be tighter but overall a good interaction.

To any small bakeries out there about to spend all of your hard earned money on an oven from here think twice. I am just about to scrap a 4 deck mono oven that has lasted me 2 years and cost me 10k. I have had problem after problem with this oven since installation and the fact we still have a business making bread astounds me with the difficulties we've had with this oven. One engineer said it should never have been resold and should of gone to the scrap along time ago. Every engineer outside of Brooks has terrible things to say about this company. Please do not waste your money. on their second hand equipment it will only cause you heartache.

Maybe Brooks only looks after its larger clients. As a private purchaser buying just a Rofco Oven and Prover I have had nothing but headaches and a torturous journey from start to finish. The Rofco salesman must have been asleep during the customer service presentation - he is appallingly bad. He was completely ineffectual with my broken oven (on delivery) and it got worse with the missing manual and paperwork for my prover. After emailing the manual for the wrong model he said he couldn't find the right model and I should get it myself from Rofco - followed by they (Brooks) have problems getting information from Rofco. If Rofco is ignoring Brooks what chance would I have - I got nowhere.

Having eventually had my oven fixed, and working out how to use the new prover I let it go and got on with my life. Never wishing to purchase from Brooks again (there are other Rofco sellers in the UK!) I thought that was an end to it all! BUT NO now I am receiving spam email from Brooks. Aghhhh!

I have recently taking delivery of a Rofco B40 oven. It was a long time coming, given that everyone seems to have had the same idea in lockdown. Brook kept me updated, and even with COVID and Brexit, the oven was delivered in time with the lead time I was given. Jo and Ann at Brook have been very helpful throughout and they have been a pleasure to deal with.
