Absolutely awful company. The customer service is awful. When I received my first shipment half of the meals were not the meals I had ordered and with foods I cannot eat. I emailed them right away and a week later have not received a reply. Second, I emailed them to cancel the second order I had placed because the food does not taste good at all. Not only have they not answered, I just received a message that they've shipped the second order. Shop elsewhere!!

Not fresh. Awful behaviour from the owner lady. No respect. Only behave nicely when you order food, but when some issues arise then arrogant and rude behaviour comes out. Definitely not that nutritious how they described.

Chefly offer reliable healthy food delivered weekly.

I lost 15Kg with their low carb keto options which come with superfood sides like kale, spinach, quinoa, and cauliflower rice.

I've since moved towards their steaks meals which come with potatoes or beans, and are just really tasty.

The menu changes over time. I'm currently addicted to their new Jerk Chicken.

Thought I would try this Company now that I am now less able to cook for myself. The nice, colourful website and unproven, emblazoned reviews disguise complete ineptitude, false promises and shockingly bad customer service.

I only expect two things from any Company, firstly, to get what I pay for and secondly, good old fashioned honesty. Chefly have provided me with neither.

Having made an order for several meals for delivery today, 27 December 2023, I received continuous email updates assuring me the meals would arrive today with updates apparently from DPD announcing their arrival. Until this morning. No updates and nothing from DPD.

I contacted the Company who stated that I had been informed on 21 December 2023 that the meals would now be delivered on 29 December 2023, whereas on 21 December 2023, I was actually emailed the following...

"Hi Carl

We hope you're enjoying your latest Chefly meals.

Just a heads-up that we’ve taken a payment of £34.94 for your next delivery due to arrive on Wednesday 27th December."

This reiterated that the meals would be delivered today, the 27 December 2023. When I confronted Maja (their hapless customer service agent), his/her/they response was "everyone deserves a holiday". Quite witty I thought if it were not for the fact that I bought no shopping as I was supposed to be eating their food!

I would offer the following advice about this Company:

I am unable to comment on their product as I've not received it however, if they value their product as much as their customers I can only surmise as to the quality.

If you wish to rely on this Company to fulfill your needs, DO NOT.
IF YOU ARE DISABLED, IF YOU ARE A SERVICE VETERAN PLEASE REPOST

To be expecting a food delivery when you struggle to cook for health reasons it is hard to bear to be told on the day of the delivery that you will get no food for that day, Chefly made excuse after excuse and my honest opinion is that my concerns were not met. They offered the meals for free this Friday (which I declined) and a refund in the end, however, it did not make my life easier as I had to wait two days for a home delivery from another company.

If you are hungry, expect to get what you have paid for or receive an honest return, ie some food, for your hard earned cash...

Used to be good, now poor customer service.

Was a long time subsciber and meals are generally very good. On occasion some of the meals weren't great but overall i was happy.

Had 2 occasions when deliveries did not arrive on time but good customer service sorted those out.

Unfortunately recent customer service has been poor when discounts not applied or had issues repsosne has been very poor, feels like they have just outsourced their support overseas.

As such i cancelled my subcscription as this sort of service lives and dies on great service.

Worth a punt but be aware that service levels have dropped.

All the meals are extremely fresh and due to the air tight packaging it’s longer lastings. The portions are perfect for me and food is really tasty. I’m very busy due to my schedule and it’s really handy having food that has no artificial additions that generally agrees with me. One tip- if you want to buy these and get the best taste- don’t microwave them. They taste so much better oven heated and a lot fresher. When I first bought them- I microwaved them and I honestly rated them half as much as I do now I oven them.

Love it! Been using this service for a few months now and planning on continuing. I love how many choices are available and I find the food delicious. Portions are perfect and if you are counting calories (like me) all the dishes are on fitness pal. I am not a fan of cooking just for me or batch cooking, so I just chose protein based dishes and was really amazed at the quality and taste. Juicy chicken breast (how?) and steak, yummy sauces and carb alternatives. Yes, these are microwave meals, but I have tried frozen ready meals and vacuum sealed- the taste was really bad. Anyways, love it and having meals at home at the ready is absolutely perfect.
