I question the ‘ethically’ produced meat and can’t find much detail on the website about how it’s produced. The chickens are supposed to be free range but are huge - not sure how they could possibly walk let alone range freely. It’s also far too cheap to be reared ethically. It’s a shame as it could be a great opportunity to have a traditional, local butcher but they seemed to be more concerned with quantity over quality.

Would highly recommend this butchers. We have shoped there on many occasions and the produce we purchased has been melt in the mouth 1st class. All the staff are very helpful when it comes to advice about the products even down to cooking advice. My partner Chris visited again this morning and again recived excellent friendly service. Wow...I had a wonderful surprise when I went to the Dutch Nursery for my usual vegetables on my return from a long holiday this summer.
Your meat is superb guys...Just today I bought a simple chicken from you and it was the best I have had since I can't remember when. Full of flavour, tender and juicy 😋 10 out of 10 , thankyou.

Bought 2 steak encroute with pepper sauce yesterday at pearces farm shop and they were absolutely horrible at £4 each we had to look hard for the meat that was stuck together and no pepper corn sauce at all will not be returning for more, I hope that the lamb I bought too is a bit better
Pastry was real soggy and I cooked it to the instructionso given on the packet.

We're here every Saturday for our weeks meat, wouldn't go anywhere else. Always the best meat and very friendly team who will give you any required cut of meat. Would recommend giving them a try.
