Asked a male assistant in the outdoor area to load my trolly with 3 bags of compost. (Trying to save hubby the trip and knowing he would unload them at home.
Male assistant said "I'm not putting compost in that, you'll have to go and get a flat bed trolley" I explained that i wasn't strong enough to push a flat bed (recovering from surgery and just trying to be normal for a wee while though didnt tell him that but he saw my walking stick). His reply as he walked away, "that's your problem, I'm not breaking my back."
I went to the range and saw compost stacked outside, took a picture of it then went to the checkout and showed the picture to the cashier, a young girl and explained i couldn't lift it. "No problem, give me a minute." She went out, got the barcode, came back, processed the sale, came outside with me and proceeded to lift the bags of soul into my car. The Range, ten out of ten. B&Q nil. Guess where ill go for garden supplies in the future.

Went in to buy De Walt power tools which was on offer online but there wasn't any on the shelf, ticket said to ask a member of staff for help. We asked a worker called Alan for help, he was so disinterested, told us to search the shelves or ask at the till for help. I was really annoyed as he just fobbed us off because he couldn't be bothered. We did get what we came for after another member of staff at the till helped us. She was so helpful, about the guarantee and explained about the B&Q club card which we have now registered.
