Loved this place. Spent a couple of years here when the owner rented out the main farm house 🏡 as student accommodation. Was at Camborne School of Mines Pool Campus from 1984 to 1987 and stayed at Bosleake Farm in 1986 and 1987 with 4 other students.

In those days there was no central heating yet and so we had to keep the Rayburn stove burning to provide hot water for bathing and to heat the kitchen. Spent a lot of time in the big kitchen trying to study or wrapped up in my duvet in my bedroom when it was especially cold. Huge stone walls didn’t provide any insulation either, but we absolutely loved this place. Wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else.

Thanks for the memories. JGT.
