The BEST wedding venue!
We got married 1st June this year and it was phenomenal, the whole experience from start to finish was smooth, professional and personal. We booked Bore Place two years before getting married as we knew it was the perfect location for us. Ana was available to answer our many questions and show us around multiple times in the lead up to our wedding, nothing was too much to ask.
The whole wedding weekend was a dream, Ana and Neil were there to help us prepare for our weekend, from helping with bunting to BBQ set up. They were there on the day and made everything run smoothly so we hardly noticed them. On the Sunday morning, again they were there to help. They made our wedding weekend flow effortlessly and left us with little to worry about! The whole venue was beautiful and we had the most spectacular photos and our guests enjoyed themselves. Thank you all for the best wedding and I would recommend Bore Place to anyone!

We got married at Bore Place in October 2024. It is the most magical and incredible wedding venue and we had the best weekend of our lives. Ana and the team were fabulous - they were so friendly and helpful and we were made to feel at home. Having exclusive hire of the whole site enabled our guests to fully relax and enjoy the whole experience - every person commented on how amazing the venue was. It was simply perfect, and we feel so lucky to have had the wedding of our dreams at such a special place.

Delighted to have stayed at Bore Place House for a long weekend with the extended family. Beautiful rambling house perfect for youngsters to enjoy the early Christmas spirit. We had 18 of us staying, 10 adults and 8 kids from new born twins to 7 year old. We really didn’t want for anything, glorious rambling walks, watching farm life at work, cow milking, calves and all under the expertise guidance of Neil who couldn’t do enough for us. There is a fire pit overlooking the attractive rear garden and pond and a well stocked wood pile.
Large rooms, very large kitchen all made for an easy to manage weekend. We were all very sorry to leave and will be back.

I recently attended a Festive Chutney Making workshop using ingredients sourced from the garden at Bore Place.. The workshop began with a talk by Bore Places market gardener, which makes you appreciate the difficulties faced by market gardeners.

Bore Places resident chef taking the workshop was very professional and it was lovely to see how passionate she is about what she is doing, and what she hopes to be able to do at Bore Place in the future by way of other workshops. Apart from the delicious chutney we made, learning how to make crackers and sampling some of the Blackwood cheese was a highlight. I would thoroughly recommend this workshop, and look forward to doing others when they become available.

Stunning venue for corporate groups looking for inspiration and space to think about all journeys that lead towards greater sustainability and regenerative impact. I visited with two groups in April and May 2024 and have already booked again for next year. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing wedding venue - true hidden gem, we're so lucky we found it. We hired the entire place from Friday till Monday and had the most amazing wedding weekend. We had an Indian ceremony on the Saturday followed by our civil ceremony on the Sunday. We booked just over a year in advance, and the process was calm, flexible and easy. Ana (Sue before her) and the rest of the team were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, they made the biggest part of the planning very stress free. We knew as soon as we went to visit it was the place for us. We wanted somewhere where everyone could stay onsite for the whole weekend but that was so chilled out for everyone to enjoy. This venue is in such a beautiful location, plenty for people to do in downtime, and beautiful indoor spaces to relax and chill out. Ana and Neil chipped in helping us set up our marquee and showing guests to their rooms on the Friday. We were able to have a big catered BBQ on the Friday night. Saturday we had our Indian wedding in a capri marquee on the big lawn, and the setting was amazing - it was exactly what I had wanted. The Barn provides a big space for dining and dancing. We used it as a informal pub on the Saturday and that was amazing. The outdoor ceremony space was beautiful on the Sunday - it's so hidden and cosy, most of our guests hadn't noticed it even though they'd been there 2 days! The area around the pond was amazing for the drinks reception and then after lunch back in the Barn for a Bollywood themed ceilidh! Honestly, we didn't want to leave on the Monday.

Multi-day weddings like ours with a venue that lets you book over a weekend and has that much accommodation is like a dream for couples like us - we wanted to do both the Indian and the western ceremonies - and this place was perfect. It felt like being in a little village for the weekend with you friends and family, and it was lovely how everyone got to know each other properly.

I honestly can't think of a single negative thing to say about Bore Place, and special shout out to Ana and Neil who were just incredibly kind and helpful with anything and everything.

The special thing to say about Bore Place as a wedding venue - the work they do with people and nature is truly incredible. We had always wanted a venue where our money was going to a good cause (they're a charity) and we're really happy we found it here. If Goggle gave the option to give a million stars, Bore Place would get it.

The accommodation was lovely and the food fantastic. The woodwork workshop was fascinating and very therapeutic.
I have to say a big thank you to Jane who was so wonderful on the nature walk with all of her badger knowledge.

We got married at Bore Place mid August 2024 and couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. The venue is so unique compared to so many others we looked at, with the biggest draw being the huge number of guests they can accommodate, but also the relaxed nature and flexibility, it ticked every box.

Guests joined us on the Friday evening for games and pizza in the gorgeous garden, followed by a stunning outdoor ceremony on the Saturday, family-style feast and live band in the large barn. The firepits kept everyone warm as the sun set, and countless seating areas inside and out meant everyone could do as they pleased.

A huge thanks to Ana, Jo and the rest of the team for hosting us and helping everything run smoothly - we have had endless comments from guests on how perfect the whole weekend was. Gutted for it to be over but would love to return soon. If you're considering Bore Place for your wedding please go and visit it, you will book immediately. Thanks guys!
