We have been using border view kennels for a few years now. Our dogs love it. They always come home happy. I have read some bad reviews about dogs coming home not fed, which I can safely say some dogs don't eat when away from home and they fret for there owners, people complain about there dogs being smelly, it's a working farm, dogs are fine. I have never had cause to complain. We will continue to use border view.

My 2 dogs have stayed here for the last two years for 2 weeks each time and are booked for next year, they always come back happy and well fed we have never had any problems when using the kennels.

What an absolute gem of a place. We had several of the small dishes to share bet3 of us and all of them were outstanding!!!
The place is decorated to a high standard, extremely clean and well placed as a venue.
The service was friendly and very professional throughout.
The food was absolutely outstanding!!!! We had 4 dishes and the portion sizes were perfect.
This place is a must visit for anyone who loves good food.
I didn’t get chance to photo the other dishes as I just couldn’t get stuck in!!!

We've borded our British short-hair (Miss Ellie) at Border View for a few years now. More than satisfied with the care given to Miss Ellie, Emma and the staff are so caring. Very clean pens and lovely views of some farm animals to keep Miss Ellie amused.

We have used these kennels for a good couple of years and swapped from a ‘ luxury ‘ kennel, would always choose border view over our previous choice. It’s on a working farm so may not look as aesthetically pleasing but our dog comes out so much healthier and so much happier than our previous place. Emma is so lovely and so good with our dog. Until proven otherwise, I will always have good things to say about our experiences with border view

Our two Labradors love their holidays at Border View Farm. This gives us peace of mind when we are away. They are always very excited when they know they are on the way there and are always warmly welcomed. On picking them up they have clearly been well cared for, clean and happy. We are 100% satisfied with the care and friendliness of the staff who obviously care for them greatly. We love our dogs and the positive experience we have had every time they stay means we have total trust in Border View Farm to look after them well.

Seems the reviews on here are being balanced out (i assume with fake 5 stars) so their actual 1 star reviews arent affecting the rating too much! Absolutely enraged finding multiple online posts and reviews of this place. All posts list unsanitary conditions, overcharging when picking up pets, underfeeding. Some posts include loss of harness/leads (owners were told the kennel users slip leads on pick up) making me doubt dogs were walked at all. Really heartbroken to hear all this as pets bring such sunshine and happiness to the world. They should know better and be ashamed.

I have used Borderview kennels for a number of years now. All my three dogs are always very excited when they arrive which speaks volumes especially when one is an absolute Princess. One of my dogs needs daily medication which has never presented a problem. Nothing ever seems too much trouble for them
