brought down by a few rude staff members among the nice ones. it's a shame because some of them are really lovely. Will be changing pharmacies due to being treated so poorly for being forgetful due to mental illness.

Wouldn’t give me required medication because I wouldn’t tell him the gory, intimate details of my condition. I told him I wasn’t answering such personal and quite shocking questions but that I’d had the medication before. He then refused to sell it to me. Got it from over the road instead without being asked inappropriate questions. All he needed to ask was if I was over 16, under 60 or pregnant and to read the pack before taking. He didn’t need to ask disgusting questions and especially in front of other people. Would give zero stars if I could.

Oh my goodness.....what a rude member of staff! I was ignored by 2 staff chatting to each other about the weekend and after 5mins of waiting whilst they finished their conversation.....told the prescription was lost, had to call prescription line and they resent prescription. Went back and prescription not ready, was asked to come back!! ? returned 3rd time in 2 days and was told I had to wait ✋️ ? waited 25 mins!! Shop empty....... apparently a lady spoke to me and said everyone has changed from boots to the pharmacy over the road....think I will now.

My doctor sent my prescription over to them as I needed antibiotics for a kidney infection. I expected that I would be able to pick it up the same day, but no. They had the prescription but no tablets to be able to dispense. Told they may be getting some the next day. Turned out they weren't due to get any till May! Took my prescription and walked over the road and the tablets were dispensed straight away. Not the first time I've had this issue as I had to wait 3 weeks for repeat prescription HRT with no option to go elsewhere.

Best described as Manyana, nobody answers the phone so you have to go to the shop to check if your prescription is in, which in our case is a 4 mile each way trip. The sevice is slow, never seem to have the required drugs for prescription which means double or triple visits too collect. Give up in the end and changed chemists.

Booked a flu jab a month and a half ago, received multiple text reminders about my appointment, went to the pharmacy yesterday to receive this, to be told they can’t do it due to staffing and apparently should never have been able to book in the first place. Staff not very apologetic, didn’t seem to be bothered and just said ‘try guisborough’. Appalling service. Complaint filed with Boots and won’t be using their service again.

Booked flu jab online, cancelled by Boots ( no reason) 2 days before due. Rebooked to a week later only to receive message today to say cancelled again ( no reason) & to rebook! Already paid so will be asking for refund & going to walk in at another pharmacy.

Waiting for a delivery of pain killers from my pharmacy which hadn’t arrived. Turns out someone from Boots has changed my preference of pharmacy to them simply because I went in one day and picked up a prescription. How dare they?!!! I don’t even live at Saltburn and now will have to wait several more days for my delivery
