We are so lucky to have this shop in the village. The meat and poultry are of excellent quality - and I really do not understand why anyone would buy these from a supermarket when this shop is on their doorstep! The rest of the shop is a well stocked general grocery. Service is courteous, friendly, very efficient - and very public spirited. The owners care about this community.

Fantastic. Just finished a BBQ of lamb burgers and boerswurst from Bob's, and am grilling one of their big packs of BBQ chicken fillets for lunches for the rest of the week.
A fantastic independent butcher with very friendly staff and a huge array of options.
Get there early though as it all goes quickly!

Always so helpful, they go out of their way to help the community. Well stocked shop, amazing sausages plus of course the meat is top quality. They deliver to needy people in the village, and go out of their way to be helpful.

They were pressurised and abused at the start of the Covid crisis, when new customers were coming in and trying to buy up everything, so ignore any reviews from February/March 2020.

Wonderful popular local butchers, also stocked with ample for your local needs.

Hi so a few days ago I went to bobs family butchers and I was well impressed so I bought a bit of everything. The steaks I had were absolutely the most juiciest I've had since South Africa however the chicken gave myself and three others a really bad virus. I know it was the chicken as my friends daughter did not have any and she did not get ill. I don't blame anyone for this as these things happen from time to time and the steaks were really good so if I could post a review for the steaks it would be a 5 star but the chicken....

I have bought meat of every description from Mr Bob. In all instances it has been of the best quality, the tastiest and good value.

The service and attitude is second to none and I can only implore you to get to Bob's!!!

What ever happened to a friendly smile? Non existent here. First ever visit and will be the last. Meat all prepacked in plastic so cannot see what you are buying. Might as well go to Tesco to buy meat like this. Shame
