Blueberry Hill Preserves used to be our favourite, and we'd stock up from the Christmas and food markets every time they came to York. Over the years the price has gone up and the jars have seemingly shrunk, which given the cost of things I can tolerate. What I can't tolerate is unfortunately is the degrading of the quality of the products. We found both the Tomato Chutney and Christmas Chutney we love normally lacking the usual oomph, being thin. I think recipes have been watered down and you can tell. I thought it was maybe just a one off, but since tried new jars of jams, including hot garlic pickle and these too have suffered. It's such a shame but I won't be buying again.

Nice tasting Seville Orange Marmalade but far too much pectin. It’s absolutely solid. Impossible to spread on hot buttered toast! Sorry - shan’t be buying this again … one lump or two?

Absolutely beautiful cheese and preserves! I’d particularly recommend the farmhouse chutney, we enjoyed them for a lovely romantic night in tonight after buying them from the stall at Burton Agnes. Will absolutely buy again!

Bought some cheese truckles whilst visiting York Christmas market. Cheeses have an amazing flavour. Particularly liked the Worcestershire sauce and shallot. Look forward to trying more of these excellent cheeses.

Just been to Richmond North Yorkshire artisan market. First time I've bought anything from Blueberry Hill.
I bought Ginger curd, Blackberry and Apple Jam, red onion and sage cheese and roasted garlic and parsley cheese. Always one to experiment. I put ginger curd on a cracker ,with a slice of red onion cheese. Absolutely delicious. Try it. Honestly it's gorgeous.

Randomly discovered the brand while visiting a market in Lancashire a couple of years ago, and what a discovery!! Only realised this week they're set up for online order/delivery. I ordered 4 jars and it arrived well packaged and super quickly. Their hot garlic pickle is like crack to me, I can eat it straight out of the jar with a spoon... But for normal people it works beautifully with cheese or even as a condiment to lift a sauce up. I also bought a couple of curds which are smooth, well balanced...delightful. I can't wait to try the chutney!! Well worth giving it a try.

Bought a very small jar of pickle, which was quite expensive, from Hambleton show. Was quite appalled that it was tasteless and the man (presumably the owner), was quite rude about it. Not only are his pickles second rate, I then, to my horror, saw him taking away a television that had been won by a young 4 year old and the man was highly obnoxious and proud of his actions. There was no ‘karma’ as he stated. What kind of person does this to a heart broken child. Not only is your business a disgrace but the owner of this company is a despicable human being. Let’s see where karma gets you ?
