Currently sat here drinking my morning coffee, getting ready to check out and thought I'd write a review for this place.||Firstly it's worth noting we booked this very last minute via airbnb (8pm the night before we wanted to come) and got a confirmation within the hour from Tina to say we were good to go!||Upon arrival we made our way up to the private glamping field to our Shepherds hut (Sunflower) and got ourselves unpacked. Tina arrived shortly after to check everything was OK, explain everything and ask if there was anything we needed. |Our hut the "Sunflower" fits us 4 (2 adults and an 11 and 7 year old) perfectly, and we have all had great night's sleep.||We have been very fortunate with good weather and having the entire field to ourselves for the 2 days, so the kids have been able to roam freely!||The shower and toilet blocks are heated and located a short stroll away. Lovely and clean, and a decent size, so can get washed and dressed in relative comfort.||Everything you need is provided, including a fire pit, which was lovely in the evenings. There is a little fire in the Shepherds hut too, although it keeps surprisingly warm anyway. ||There are plenty of animals here - horses, goats, llamas, miniature horses and dogs! Then there are lots of wild bunnies roaming around that you will see in the mornings and evenings. A pheasant even came rambling across the field one afternoon. There is also a riding school in the same field as the huts, so occasionally you'll get to watch some horses get put through their paces! ||The place is very secluded and as close as you will get to the middle of nowhere whilst only a short drive away from all your essentials. Those essentials being a chinese takeaway for us 1 night! ||We did take a few walks, which were lovely, and one day took the slightly longer walk to Bewl Reservoir armed with our picnic! That was a lovely day! Not sure how I managed to get sunburnt in April, but I did.|We even bumped into Tina riding a horse down the lane as we were returning. ||Whilst everything is here and supplied for you - cooking, eating, playing, etc. |I would recommend bringing your own headtorches torches - it does get very dark. |The field is quite large, so feel free to bring games like rounders etc, we did.|We also brought a telescope and got some great views of Jupiter! |We also brought a projector for the kids in the evening, which worked great as there's no light pollution. ||As an FYI there are 4 huts in the private field, and looks like there might be one more glamping experience on the way!. The field is big though, you could easily fit more on here, but having just a few adds to the exclusivity of it! You won't be tripping over each other, as there's loads of room! Again we were lucky that we were the only ones here.||Overall we have had a great couple of days here, and would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay. ||Will probably return one day!

Lovely stay at the farm. The hut was perfectly clean and comfortable, the team was welcoming and it was a delight to be surrounded by the mini goats, horses and Llamas.
We cycled to the farm and around Bewl water, it was a bit of challenge with the hills but still manageable for anyone used to cycle regularly!

Just home from a 3 night stay in the shepherds hut, which was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Hosts/staff are lovely people and very accommodating. Local pub you can walk to, which was also very nice. Had a relaxing and peaceful stay. Will definitely return.

Liked: A friendly welcome and well-equipped hut with everything I needed. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and lots of wildlife around (rabbits, foxes and birds of prey) as well as the llamas, horses and goats nearby!
Was perfect on the sunny day of my stay and also cosy on the day it rained - I will definitely be back!

Fantastic long weekend in Daisy shepherd's hut. Hosts Tina and Paul are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Huts are spotless and have everything you need. Surrounded by amazing countryside and animals. Amazing pub a short walk away with live music, food and friendly locals!
Highly recommend the llama walks, such an amazing experience. We did the pub walk. It's very clear Tina and her team love and care for all their animals. Overall highly recommended!

The bell tent was beautifully appointed and so comfortable for myself and my two children, with plenty of space. The beds and furnishings were cosy and with the log burner and candles lit in the evening it was just beautiful. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook for ourselves and I loved sitting on the benches outside the tent to have a cup of tea and just listen to the birds. We were lucky enough to see some brand new baby llamas in the field next door and the ponies nearby were friendly too. The children were charmed by the wild rabbits hopping around the site (not to mention the pheasants and deer!). The shower and toilet were clean and the water lovely and warm.||Tina was a wonderful host, coming to check on us each morning. She has an eye for detail that is evident throughout the accommodation. ||Nearby Bedgbury Pinetum was a lovely day out with Go Ape, engaging play trails for the children and a beautiful setting. ||Bluecaps Farm is truly a little gem, and I would love to return.

We stayed in the Poppy hut for one night yesterday. The hut was lovely and very cute with hob, sink, table, chairs, log fire and large double bed. It was spotlessly clean and very comfy, especially the bed which was better than many 5 star hotels in which we stayed. |View were gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed a glass of wine whilst watching rabbits play, llamas mooch and birds sing.|Shower block was also exceptionally clean and the shower hot and refreshing, again better than some in expensive hotels. |All in all, a lovely place to spend the night after walking the llamas with the ever glorious Blue caps Llama trekking (see other review)
