ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!

I just purchased a Specialized bike from Blazing Saddles. I'm really glad I did.

Anna was fabulous answering my numerous questions over the phone, and just as fabulous when I visited the store to explore options.

I wasn't sold a bike. I was given expert and friendly guidance that helped me want to buy a bike.

There are at least 3 established bike stores within just a few miles of where I live. Blazing Saddles is further afield, but really worth the trip.

Great shop, very friendly and helpful! I'd driven up from Sheffield to do a loop around Calderdale, but unfortunately left my Garmin mount on another bike. Not knowing the area at all I'd put a route on it so would have been stuck without it. A quick Google showed Blazing Saddles just round the corner from where I'd parked. Popped in, but they didn't stock mounts, however they did improvise a solution for me using a bit of inner tube. It worked an absolute treat, no movement even on the rocky descents. Thanks again for saving the day!

Managed to round a couple of very tight brake bolts and saw that these guys are open on a Sunday so drove my bike to them. They were able to sort it out much to my relief. Gave me a helpfully detailed quote to replace my headset too which I will be back to sort soon. Would highly recommend.

Earlier this summer Blazing Saddles built my new bike for me. I went into the shop beforehand a number of times to discuss the components and get advice from the staff. Everyone in the shop were really helpful. The mechanics are really skilled and experienced and I am very happy with the wheel-builds, the attention to detail and the quality of the work. They even taught me how to setup my tubeless tyres - which was really good for me but must have added time to their workload that day.

This afternoon I went back in to get some advice about my brakes, the mechanics helped me and fixed the problem for free while a waited even though the shop was really busy.

In the past I have bought my son's bike and helmets and components from Blazing Saddles. I always get good, honest and helpful advice. Their prices are competitive with big website shops and they have a decent range of stock.

Blazing Saddles is also a great place to find out about the local biking scene, whether that's suggesting local routes or publicising events, there's also free bike cleaning stuff out the back as well.

It's just a great local bike shop. Recommended.
