Fantastic guided tour of a beautiful and historically significant Distillery. The owner and tour guide is a fantastic, fanatical and fun character who hails from a line of distillers and is clearly passionate about all things whisky. I have been on a number of whisky tours over the years but enjoyed and learned more from Blackness Bay than the all the rest put together.

A fantastic gem tucked away on beautiful coastline that is often overlooked by tourists. Change that and make a point of adding it to your itenary if you are visiting the area. We finished our visit with some lobster and chips at the Lobster Pot pub next door which was brilliant.

An absolutely fantastic tour. Informative and full of humour.. it was an absolute delight. Great selection of whiskey and rum to taste, too.
A trully authentic experience! Wouldn't choose anything different!

Well worth a visit, we had a meal in the lobster pot as well as the distillery tour. Food was good and the tour was fantastic, really interesting and funny with great hosts. Nice to taste the spirits and look forward to their whisky being ready.

We were so glad we booked the tour at Blackness Bay Distillery. Very informative and certainly a tour we wont forget. We were made to feel welcome throughout and all aspects of the distilling within this small family run distillery were discussed in detail.Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, one of the best tours we have been on, many thanks to you both. We will enjoy the raspberry rum and the Blackness Jacobite Rum 🙂

Had a great meal at the lobster pot followed by a personal tour of the distillery, along with some fine whisky and rum tasters. Was a great tour from the lovely couple , who do all this by themselves. Bought one of there first batch of blended whisky . Would recommend to go there for meal and tour. Will definitely go back .

The tour was absolutely fantastic. There were only two other couples and the tour was very personal and hilarious. It was the best distillery tour we had been to (and we’ve been to a few). We ended up buying a bottle of the raspberry rum which is absolutely delicious. Especially as a shot in mulled wine. Highly recommend a visit!

We had a fantastic experience at Blackness Bay Distillery. It was not only entertaining but also highly informative. Sheena and Colm are wonderful hosts. We learned so much about the history of the region and, of course, about rum and whisky. Colm is an amazing storyteller, filling the tour with both valuable insights and a great deal of cheer. He even plays the bagpipes beautifully! Sheena is the heart and soul of the distillery, always there with the perfect pour at just the right moment. We felt incredibly welcome and highly recommend visiting Blackness Bay Distillery to anyone in the area!

Discovered this new distillery when parking at the beach onto the river Forth at Blackness. Beautiful location and managed to get a wee taste of the Blackness Bay, #FlowerofScotland Pink Rum made in the distillery. I decided to buy a bottle and bought a bottle of Fentmans classic rose lemonade and made a delicious cocktail. The pink rum has a lovely aroma of flowers. Managed to take a quick walk around the rose gardens next to distillery, which has super view over the River Forth and easy walking distance to Blackness Castle. Well worth a visit.
