The best donuts in the world!!
Ok I obviously haven't tried all the donuts around the world but the ones I have have always been beaten by Birds. If I ever moved away from Derbyshire and lived in a different country I have always said it would be Birds that I would miss the most (after friends and family of course)

Birds offer a wide variety of cakes, tarts, sausage rolls, bread, bread rolls, cheese and onion rolls, meat products and more, all of it is fresh and whatever they don't sell gets chucked out at the end of the working day so you know that everyday everything is fresh!

The caramel donut has cream inside, caramel on top and is super soft and yummy - and messy. The Lemon tarts are smaller than what I would normally go for but they are so full of flavour that I don't mind them being tiny! And my last recommendation is the Cheese and Onion Rolls, so delicious and always a great temperature as well.

The bread rolls are a family favourite, you can get them in different sizes as well and they can be frozen very easily too. If you are in the Derbyshire / Chesterfield / Burton area make sure to go here to get a treat or two!

So this morning I went to get a sausage cob I felt the lady serving took an instant dislike (menopausal possibly) as when I asked for a little bit of stuffing she proceeded to put the whole serving in and when I repeated what I said she forked it in half and left the half in one quarted otmf the cob and then covered it in apple sauce at that point I walked out as she asked what she had done, I told her if you can't spread stuffing along the cob instead of in one spot on not interested and left the shop never to return,

Headed in early Saturday morning for the fresh rolls and something to treat myself. Was greeted by a polite and helpful staff member who catered to all my needs. If it wasn't for the manager screaming at her other staff about what seemed unimportant it might have made it my greatest birds experience.

I ordered a number of fresh cakes and sausage rolls for my wife's 40th birthday celebration at her place of work.
The service from the shop in Mickleover was first class,food was absolutely lovely.
Highly recommended.

Always very very and helpful staff,visit most weeks and yesterday collected a beautiful buffet for my parents 50th wedding anniversary ❤thanks so much there wasn't much left at all

What is going on as this shop has very poor selection, few sandwiches, no sausages and limited cake range. Visit was pre - noon and therefore arguement of selling out could apply as still at least 6 hrs before they closed.
