Lovely full English breakfast, all items delicious! Food delivered to table in good time after ordering at the counter. Proper Kimbo brand coffee too. Bit of a wait for a table, maybe 7 minutes, just because it was very busy at 11am. Clean, spacious toilets. Ample parking onsite. Sadly not dog friendly, but still a family favourite of ours.

We decided to try this local restaurant based on positive reviews and its convenient location. Unfortunately, our experience fell well short of expectations due to poor service and food quality issues.

Service Issues:
Upon arrival, we noticed signage indicating only breakfast was available, so my girlfriend approached the counter to confirm this was the complete menu. One staff member completely ignored her while texting on her phone - unprofessional behavior that set a disappointing tone for our visit.
When we finally received attention from what appeared to be a manager (a middle-aged woman with glasses), her manner was curt and unwelcoming when confirming the menu details.

Food Ordering Confusion:
We ordered four soups total: my parents requested two onion soups, while I ordered two leek and potato soups. We were told only one onion soup was available, with leek and potato as the alternative - so they change one onion for that.
When two soups arrived and were simply announced as "two soups," I naturally asked which varieties they were, given our mixed order. The server responded sharply that they were "onion, that's all we have" in a dismissive tone. When I explained we had also ordered leek and potato soups, she claimed they were "coming later" but seemed unwilling to listen or acknowledge the confusion about our order. (massively confusing as we'd been told there wasn't too, and my mother was now keen to have the potato soup)
This lack of clear communication and the server's defensive attitude made a simple clarification unnecessarily confrontational and tense.

Food Quality
The eggs benedict with avocado was disappointing. The avocado was brown and mushy rather than fresh, and the eggs were overcooked and hard - basic execution issues for a breakfast dish.

Overall Experience
The combination of inattentive staff, poor communication, and substandard food quality made for an unpleasant dining experience. The apparent manager's (im presuming this) attitude was particularly concerning, as it suggests broader service training issues.
We won't be returning, which is unfortunate given the restaurant's proximity to our home. I'd recommend management address staff training around customer service and implement a clear phone policy during service hours.

By far THE BEST English breakfast along side value to money I've had. Loved it. Brilliant.

1 reservation. I left no tip, as tips are suggested when you order, and pay, at the counter, before you have received any service...
If I were to go back I would have to take cash to leave on the table AFTER I have eaten.

Would highly recommend and will be going again!

P.s. they would probably recive more tips if they were suggested tips at the end...

I walked for a hour to your cafe with my dog, and was looking forward to having a full English breakfast only to get there and find out dogs were not welcome.
I was hugely disappointed!
Not even an option to sit outside?
We ended up going into Dobbies instead and had a full English breakfast in their dog friendly cafe.
