Beautiful Gardens, you could spend all day here, we had cake and tea after our walk, the food looked very nice and reasonable priced 😊.
The gardens and walkways are stunning. It's so relaxing and peaceful.
It's also a nursery so you can buy lots of different plants also.
I came here about 15 years ago and was lucky enough to meet Beth Chatto while i was there. She was very kind and didn't mind standing there just talking to people visiting her gardens . We will be back in the summer looking forward to it.

It's still only March but the gardens of Beth Chatto were colourful and full of life. The birds were singing from the tree, bees already enjoying nectar and the lovely staff were chatty and as always, very knowledgeable. We attended for free as RHS Members but usually pay the entrance fee and always enjoy our visits and whilst we didn't today we can recommend the restaurant too.

I came here from London in order to find some plants suitable for dry shade. Big shout out to Mark from Beth Chatto, who spent 45 mins showing me around the nursery and pointing out what to see in the garden. What a star! And to Irene who was very friendly in the shop too 🙂

Top notch gardens, nursery/shop and customer service. Thanks!

An absolutely stunning garden - so beautiful and peaceful! I visited for the first time and was warmly welcomed. I was wearing my sunflower lanyard, and particularly appreciated the care that the member of staff took to tell me about access and places to sit in the garden. The planting is wonderful, Beth Chatto was clearly a visionary in terms of working with the climate - for example the gravel garden is never watered. A great selection of tempting plants to buy and a lovely tea room. I hope to return again soon!

I’ve visited this garden a few times but this was the first time I really appreciated the genius of landscaping and planting. All the books put Sissinghurst and Great Dixter on a pedestal but the fluidity of these different areas and how they are blended so seamlessly is a thing of joy.
The garden centre features a wide range of perennials and there is a small cafe and gift shop. I appreciated the range of concessions on entry too.

Was ok, nice gardens and had wanted to visit for a few years. Was there less than 90 mins including a stop in the cafe for a drink. Didn't think it was worth the £12.50 admission fee, a bit pricey. I did enjoy looking round but after 45 minutes I was done. Free parking and you can stay as long as you like
