We had our wedding at Bert's Barrow last year, and it was truly the most magical experience. From the moment we first saw the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our big day. We got married on the lawn in the sunshine with the beautiful view, ate in the corn store with the gorgeous fairy light wall backdrop, and partied in the bunting barn with a band and dance floor. The separate barns work so well for that reason and the setting is stunning.

Charlotte and Jason are the loveliest, most accommodating and hardworking people. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and we really did have the best day ever. We went with most of the recommended suppliers which was great as it all worked so seamlessly. We felt completely at ease throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding.

Our guests couldn’t stop telling us what a perfect day it was. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to get married. Highly recommend!

Honestly so so pleased we chose to get married at Bert’s. Charlotte & Jason were there from our very first contact for any questions we had. They helped reassure us that we could make our day with them as personal to us as possible and we did just that. The barns are set up so well & I honestly think they speak for themselves. We went with a lot of the trusted suppliers and were so incredibly pleased with them all. We opted for the tractor travel to the photo spots in the wild flowers and this was such a fun part of the day. There were also sunflowers at our wedding in mid-August and we got some incredible photos there too, especially evening shots. They have the space available to hire pretty much anything you want, so we hired a rodeo bull as a surprise for the guests!

It’s almost been a couple of months since we got married at Bert’s back in November 2024, and we just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything… You (Charlotte and Jase) are the loveliest people and made everything so easy and chilled! Bert’s was an absolute dream for us and we couldn’t have wished for anything more. There aren’t the words to describe how happy we were on our wedding day… it was so filled with joy and if we could’ve done it all again the day after, we’d have done it in a heartbeat! Thanks for always being there to help us along the way & on the day and for your beautiful venue.

Wow its as the most amazing views and so beautiful. Everyone was so helpful. I used her bar and catering company that Charlotte uses. and they was outstanding. Brett put my idea into reality. And food was delicious. And everyone made my day so special. I had my perfect day.

Our wedding day...
Working in the wedding industry myself I have visited and worked at so many venues around Yorkshire. I knew I wanted something very informal and relaxed and 100% knew it would be at Bert's.
Charlotte and Jason went above and beyond for us and I will be forever thankful for all they did.
All the guests enjoyed themselves and we have the most incredible wedding photographs to show.
