Behind the black gates is such a wonderful flower farm run by Jo & Carla. (N.B This is a completely separate business from Cedric Morris House/garden, do not get confused when reviewing! Take note Dave Austin)
However if you are lucky enough to do a flower course with Jo & Carla, or visit on an open day, you will see how much effort and time has been spent creating something magical! Such diverse plantings, peaceful atmosphere, completely chemical free, a wonderful place to visit when they open ( appointment only)
I’ve had a bouquet from them, done a course and seen their wedding work, absolutely stunning! Well deserved 5 stars!!!

Fantastic flower farm, so nice to have locally grown beautiful seasonal flowers available. Jo and Carla have done a brilliant job starting from scratch and planting up what was an empty paddock in to a lovely country garden and adding additional fields of lavender, dahlia, peony and lots more. Keep up the good work.

What can I say, Jo & Carla have truly worked so very hard creating a beautiful flower farm from scratch in the heart of Hadleigh, Suffolk.
They offer gorgeous gift bouquets, literally picked from their fields that day and delivered for free in and around Hadleigh!!! The flowers have No air miles, pesticide free and last for up to 2 weeks in a vase! A treat for any home!
Most impressive is that this year, in 2025 they are launching their luxury Glamping on their baby Lavender field, what a place to relax, unwind and watch wildlife.
So, if you have never visited ‘Benton End Flower Farm’ (which needs to be noted, sits quietly behind The garden museum’s place ‘Benton End House’ ) it’s a must visit, look out for their open days, pick your own events etc as they are appointment only premises.

I last week I was visiting my dear friend in Hadleigh! I love visiting Hadleigh not just to see my friend but to shop in the independent boutiques and other lovely shops! Suddenly this car pulled up and gave us beautiful tied bouquets of flowers ( free)
Apparently Benton End Farm had been doing a display in Hadleigh and the wanted to give the flowers away to make someone’s day!
Well they certainly made ours and I would thoroughly recommend them as the flowers are still going strong!
This was last Thursday!!
