We moved to the area a short while ago and came across this butchers which was recommended to us by one of the local shops. All the meat that we have tried so far, which covers, chicken, beef, pork, bacon and even gluten free sausages has been absolutely superb.
My wife now visits regularly specifically to get the meat from here and we will going again soon to stock up easy for Christmas.
Also, the prices are reasonable and all the guys in the shop are incredibly friendly and helpful, thanks.
In short, if you want meat, this is the place to go.

Easily one of the best butcher shops I have had the pleasure of visiting and Trev & his staff were friendly, helpful and fast.

It's places like this that make you realise just how important local buisnes are, and they must be supported.

The shop was packed with high quality cuts, lovley pies and a huge selection of condiments, not to mention a beautiful rack of lamb that Trev trimmed for me there and then.

Definitely be returning.

We are new to the Cotswold and have found this amazing butchery with the most professional, dedicated blockman we have ever dealt with. The attention to detail is of unbelievable standards, gentlemen of note! We would recommend a visit to their shop in Chipping Norton and see for yourself - 5 stars.

Excellent quality traditional butcher. No frills, just high standards, no nonsense - exactly as it should be.

EDIT: Six years later, 2023.

I've since gone vegetarian for health reasons, but with my brother and nephew visiting, I went and got them some bacon and sausages.

It's still excellent, still friendly - and my brother and nephew loved the meat I got for them!

Staying local, walked into Chippy, picked up great selection of sausages bacon and burgers for our camping stay, along with some pickles- great chat and banter with the team, and the goods……well all gone and were great!

Best butchers around! Trev tye and Malcolm are a dream team and we love popping in for a chat and more importantly high quality cuts of great ribeye. Can’t recommend them enough, always greet their customers by name and look after everyone who shops there. Would give 6 stars if I could
