Great butchers with high level produce. Straight from carcass to counter. Not cheap but not extortionate, it’s fair to say you get what you pay for. If you have meat from the butchers then supermarket slop will never taste the same again. Little gem this place.

First of all I have to say that I always try to support independent businesses. My initial experience with J.W Baxter’s was good however I do find the staff could improve on their customer relations skills.
My main gripe with this company and the service it provides is that I was informed that I would not need to order fillet steaks on the run up to Christmas but today (23/12/23) there was hardly any left, I did still go ahead with what there was only to find that the two small steaks were completely uneven in weight, FRUSTRATING to say the least. Also I find that the plastic packaging leaches a terrible flavour throughout the food.
I’m never buying from this butcher again.

A great selection of fresh succulent meats perfect for BBQs. Their BBQ packs are great value and so tasty. The butchers there are really friendly and never forget a face, they truly go above and beyond providing a fantastic service.

Their meat are always fresh and if you want a particular cutting, they will customize it for you. We just been literally and bought meat and they have cornish pasties freshly baked this morning.....so delicious.
