We loved our wedding at Battleswick farm from the start. Not far from Colchester, beautiful rural surroundings. We custom built our intimate wedding. With some great tips from venue owners and support from local stockists. Our day was fantastic! It all flowed perfectly. All out guests loved it and we all felt so at home. It was everything we could have hoped for!! Thank you so so much to everyone at Battleswick Farm!

What a brilliant venue! The setting, the staff, the facilities - all of it make this a unique and gorgeous place. So many different ways you can make the fantastic range of areas work for whatever event you have and the owners are experts at this and also have a gorgeous team that really look after everyone so well! I photographed a 21st birthday party there and loved it!
Hope I get to go back and photograph lots more there too. It rocks! x

My wife and I had our wedding reception here on the 13th July and are so thankful for Aaron, Mandy and the team.
They came to the rescue with only 3 months notice as we were left without a venue, and put us at ease once we first visited and went through what we wanted from the day. We are very grateful for how well they understood our situation.

We had the day before and the morning of the reception to set up, making this process as easy as possible without having to rush everything. The outdoor Silo bar and toilets we love, with many compliments from our guests too. After an afternoon of drinks and food outside, we moved into the stunning barn for the evening with the courtyard. The team behind the bar worked hard all day to keep our 100 or so guests topped up, and the live band went down a treat. A few broken glasses on or around the dance floor were kindly cleaned up by Aaron promptly.

Excited to see the developments here with more being built, and would recommend without hesitation.

We held our wedding party at Battleswick Farm in June 2023, and it was completely perfect. Mandy and Aaron are so helpful and professional, really supporting us to deliver everything we envisioned and more. The location is great, and the bars and facilities are brilliant. There will be even more accommodation and facilities on offer once they have finished developing all the farm buildings, so we’re excited to see Battleswick grow. Highly recommended for weddings or any parties/events. Thanks guys for the perfect wedding!

Amazing venue if you are after a converted barn or a large open space to have tipis or marquee etc the possibilities are endless. This venue is taking shape nicely and I am looking forward to the transformation in the next few years adding the spa, cafe, rooms and more.. this venue is one to watch and get booked in asap and have your dream wedding.

Really looking forward to attending the Christmas fair again this year.
I was there last year with my handmade Christmas items and gifts (ShabChic boutique)
I was in the barn, even though it was rather chilly ? the atmosphere was amazing, Mandy and Aaron were welcoming and helpful. A great venue to get you in the Christmas spirit.
If I could give more than 5* I would.

We was invited to cater for Battleswick Farms Silo pop up bar. What an amazing event and venue. It is a great family day out and also really enjoyable from a caterers perspective. Would highly recommend this venue for all the different events they host

Brilliant time at this wonderful Christmas Market, lovely stalls, wonderful food and delicious warming drinks, all wrapped up in wonderful warm festive atmosphere.
