Find another skip hire company. They will not collect my skip. Contacted them countless times, promised ‘priority’ collection but still nothing. Not really sure what to do now, may have to go down the legal route as it’s just sitting on my drive full.

Absolutely appalling service , inexperienced drivers in handling their vehicles and the skips when loading and off loading. My garden was destroyed by their vehicles when removing a skip, and badly damaged 2 fence panels and posts. We’d put stone and wood down as the soil was extremely wet from earlier heavy rainfall, but when they put the extension leg down and try and drive away with it still in the ground, it doesn’t bode well. We’ve had 4 skips from this company and on the last 2 occasions they had to call on another of their vehicles to tow them out of the mess they’d got themselves in. We live in a small village and this caused absolute chaos during the school run, blocking the road completely. I’ve emailed and phoned numerous times but no apology and no explanation as to how they’ll recompense me. Absolutely disgusting service, will not recommend or use again.

First time I used the company it was great then when I used them again I had nightmares. We were moving and they never removed the skip. Then when I kept calling they said they would get it removed and they never did. Everything was always left to the last minute and it was hard to get through to them on the phone. You have to ring 5+ to get through. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone unfortunately.

We had terrible trouble getting the skip collected and it took 5 phone calls over 3 weeks to get it collected this morning.

This was all down to the due diligence of Cameron. Had called me back within an hour for an early morning next day collection.

Excellent customer service making a frustrating situation resolved so quickly. Thank you Cameron!

DO NOT USE. Do not expect what you’ve ordered to arrive when you want it. Picking up the phone and telling you as the customer that the driver has ran out of hours is too much for this company. Lost money on paid labourers. At the time of posting they have agreed to cancel my skip. If it’s not the full amount I paid then I will update.

We used Skoup to order a skip which is currently being provided by Batemans. Our skip was due to be collected on May 1st and is still sat in front of my house. Skoup say they are unable to contact Batemans and keep getting the excuse that Batemans has no drivers in the area. Surely if someone has paid nearly £300 for a skip to be dropped off and collected, you shouldn’t be so rude as to ignore the company subcontracting you, and also the public paying for your service. I have attempted to call Batemans several times and nobody answers. The worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. AWFUL.

Booked a skip three weeks before it was required, I didn’t request a delivery time but did expect it am. After several phone calls & different eta’s it turned up at 2-45pm.
Due to be collected two weeks later but the job took longer than expected so I asked to keep it till the end of the week. Collection day came and went so I left it a week and phoned to inquire when it would be collected, was told the following Monday. Got a phone call Wednesday saying they could collect 6 am Thursday. It’s now 7.30 & still no sign!

Absolutely terrible service from Bateman Skips. They are extremely rude and dismissive, and getting hold of them on the phone is near impossible. They picked up the skip without any prior warning, yet when you actually need them to collect it, they’re nowhere to be found. Completely unreliable and unprofessional. find another company that actually values its customers. Avoid at all costs!
